Hack the Parks Funding Announced


July 1st, Chief Technology Officer Chris Tonjes and gb.tc Chief Instigator Jason Hardebeck announced six Hack the Parks projects that will be piloted throughout the summer, awarding the recipients seed funding for their ideas. Hardebeck said, We hope that Hack the Parks will not only lead to more

technology and innovative thinking with regard to our parks, but will also seed great new ideas, companies, and entrepreneurs who will all be able to say, 'my idea came to life in Baltimore City.
