Reflection Week 2: The first met of this ELP class there is so much learning and lesson that can

I use in doing an essay or assignment. Before the first lesson started, lecturer introducing herself and ask us to introducing the background of each person. From this I realise that lesson will be more effective if the communication has built. In this week we are learning about parts of speech and word classes. In this lesson we are learning about the type of nouns and all the example and explanation. After all of us understand, we were learnt pronouns, verbs, adverb and adjectives. In this word classes we are learning how to identify and justify the type of words. In Addition, there are so many improvements in myself about how to categorize the part of speech and word classes. From this lesson also can catalyst my writing to be more attractive.

Reflection Week 3: In this week we are start our lesson with some quiz. And after finished quiz our lecturer go to week 2 course pro forma; that is about the classification of tenses. In this week we are learning about the class of tenses like simple tenses, progressive tenses and perfect tenses. In this lesson our lecturer explained to us how to recognise the type of tenses in the sentences given. From this lesson we are able to categorize and identify type of tenses in each sentence. After that, lecturer gave the task to design a diagnostic exercise based on the parts of speech and word. In this week I think my skill of writing get some improvement because I know how to make the sentences with the situation happened.

Reflection Week 5: In this week my lesson be more attractive with lecture of verbs and tenses. In this week lecturer give more exercise about the verbs and tenses because we had been learning in PPISMP. After give some exercises, our lecturer make some explanation about the verbs and tenses. After the lecture, lecturer asks us to make some research about tenses learnt to get more information an show to the class on the next lecture. Through this task I can myself more understand and clear about tenses. For example, I can differentiate present, past, and future tenses.

Reflection Week 6: I have gone through several sources; newspaper, magazine, journal, internet and so forth. By reading from various sources, I have chosen three best texts and I have identified the text according to the specific task given by lecturer. In the text itself, I be able to compare and contrast the type of sentences. From the three text that I have selected, there are so many sentence types to be identified. Some of the sentences are straight forward and some of it are not. Then, it will lead to some problem because I could not recognize the type of sentence especially compound and complex sentence.

Reflection Week 7: In this week we were learnt about question form. From this lesson we had taught from our lecturer about the questioning and response. Our lecturer asks us to make as many as possible the questions from the article given. After that, lecturer asks us fine a partner to make some interview with the questions given to us. For example, we are tried to ask a question about the background of our friend. After class finished, I had done task from ISL work. I find some exercise and note from internet to make me better understanding in making the question forms. From this research, I am able to make some question with more precise and critical.

Reflection Week 8:

Reflection Week 9: In this week. In the beginning I have watched several video and I have selected best video from BBC new. I have encountered some problem regarding to the video. The first problem that I faced was I could not be able to listen what the native speaker is talking about. After listening a few times from the audio, I am able to understand what they have mentioned in the audio. Therefore, I manage to transcribe the word have mentioned in the news.

Reflection Week 12: In this week, we are doing oral presentation with powerpoint from the topic that chosen that relate to RBT course. My topic for oral presentation is the advantages and drawbacks of solar energy. From this task I am able to build a confidence in to speak and explain about the topic in front of class. I also learnt how to make the point understood by the listener. In this task, I also learnt to improve the powerpoint base on the criticism by lecturer. In conclusion, this oral presentation gives me an opportunity to improve my writing skill and presentation.
