Take this cwm recovery as the milestone for Lava Xolo A500 Development. We know to Install Custom Rom we need the cwm recovery img & as cwm recovery.img is here so Custom Rom will also come for this device very soon. As A500 users had a lot of difficulties with thier previous chinese recovery,I f inally decided to port the latest recovery for their A500.After working for two days,I ve successfully ported Clockworkmod 6 for them. Now you guys can backup y our current stock rom and can get into the new age of custom roms. Flashing them es as well as roms are all possible and is really easy. But I recommand you guys to carefully,follow my instructions step by step so that nothing goes wrong. What Comes First? First Root then Clockworkmod Recovery. To Install this Cwm Recovery.img first & the foremost thing you need to do is Ro ot Your Lava Xolo A500. If you haven t rooted your Lava Xolo A500 Still now then u se our bellow rooting guide & if your Lava Xolo A500 is already rooted then Skip the bellow rooting Step. How To Root Lava Xolo A500 1) Download Pdanet USB composite Driver & Install it on your Pc [Link Here] 2) After Driver Installation done, restart your Pc. 3) Now Enable USB Debugging Mode on your phone by going to Settings->Development ->USB Debugging 4) Connect your Xolo A500 to your computer using the USB Cable.

5) Let The Driver Stabalize. 6) Now Download this Lava Xolo A500 Rooting Tool & Extract it on your Pc. 7) Double-Click the RunMe.bat file which you get after extracting the Lava Xolo A500 Rooting Tool. 8) Now a black window will appear on your desktop this is batch file cmd window, check the bellow picture for example root_bin4ry_lava_xolo_a500

9) Type 1 to choose Normal Mode & click enter button. 10) Now you will be asked to tap the screen of your droid, so do it. 11) After Tapping you handset will get rooted Successfuly. 12) Now your device will get automatically rebooted , if not then do it yourself . That s It, Now your Lava Xolo A500 Is Successfuly Rooted , Now you can head to dward Install Cwm Recovery on Your Lava Xolo A500. If you have any doubt whether your Lava Xolo Got Rooted or Not, then you can get sure by downloading the Root Checker App From Playstore. Method 1 : Clockworkmod Recovery Installation [Adb Method] First Of All Download this 3 Files which are need to complete this process:English Cwm Recovery.img ADB Package Quick Boot

Now Extract the ADB package in your Pc root drive (Basically the root drive is C :\ drive ) After extracting you will get an adb folder. Now put the Recovery.img downloaded above in that adb folder. Now Enable USB debugging in your phone by going to Settings->Development->USB De bugging (Skip this step if it is already enabled) Now Download the Quick Boot App from above & install it in your Mobile. Open tha

t App & click on Bootloader option. After sometime your phone will get stuck at the logo. (don t panic) Connect your phone to PC using USB cable. Now open the adb folder & inside that folder press & hold the Shift key + right click on blank space & choose Open Command Window Here. Now a black cmd window will open, there type fastboot devices This should display your device name in fastboot mode, if nothing is shown, then you have to check previous steps again. Now Type fastboot flash recovery recovery.img Within a sec the process will get over & it will install the cwm recovery img on you Lava Xolo A500 So Enjoy, you have successfully Install CWM Recovery.img on Lava Xolo A500.. Now you can check whether your CWM is working or not:Remove battery of your phone and reinsert. Press Power and Volume Up key to boot into recovery mode. If it get booted into recovery mode then it mean you have successfuly installed it, if not then try the process again. Congrats, You have successfully installed Cwm 6 in your Lava A500 Method 2 : Clockworkmod Recovery Installation [ Recovery Manager Method ] Download Recovery Manager from here Place the recovery img in the sd-card. Open the app and click on Install recovery .Select the recovery img that has b een placed on the sd-card. It will install the recovery.Thats it :) Method 3 : Clockworkmod Recovery Installation Download the Lava_A500_CWM6.0_KIT.zip Extract it in pc Now enable Usb Debugging in your device. Now go into the extracted folder and click on Install CWM batch file. Now a black popup will come.Connect your device and Press any key Let the Cwm be flashed. Your cell will restart automatically.
