Major Business Objectives of ERP: Streamline RINL/VSP s Financial, Commercial, HR and Production Planning processes through software led

business process reengineering in conjunction with the implementation of the ERP package. Integrate Expansion and other improvement projects with ERP Package Standardize business processes and practices throughout the enterprise to conform to desired practices, companys laid down business policies, statutory regulations or procedures and collective bargaining agreements. Eliminate activities and processes or sub processes that do not add value or retard the business processes in all identified areas. Address the business requirements of all the units of individual functions, corporate office, Liaison offices, Regional offices, stockyards and port office. Capture and make available to Corporate Management, Unit heads, Regional and Area heads, the information needed to effectively manage programs and measure their success through relevant, correct, consistent and up-to-date i Provide senior and line managers of operation, services and support, specifically system users and functional managers, with the necessary technology, tools and training to enable them to extract the data and information they require to meet their decision support and other business needs. Enhance the ability to report enterprise wide expenditures, cash flow & budget utilization by unit & cost centers by implementation of enterprise wide accounting and other business standards. Make information more readily available, as appropriate, to all units, functional and business process units, suppliers, customers and other agencies as may be authorized by RINL/VSP. Integrate Project Management module with enterprise system. Make available all expansion/construction related information including Project linked Materials, Finance etc., information. Provide employees and retirees direct access, as appropriate, to personnel, payroll, time and attendance, benefit, and retirement information. Help optimize its inventory management of spares, raw materials and consumables by sharing the pool of inventory across the enterprise to industry standard best practices. Facilitate cut costs, administrative over heads and achieve reduction in production and operation costs. Facilitate distribution and logistics management of finished goods and sale of products in domestic and international markets. Provide inventory of human resource with skills and competencies through competency mapping to effectively manage its operations.
