It was a pleasure to meet with you at our Bounds Green Office on 30 March 2006 and discuss the possibility of filing a Patent Application for the "Another Way to Pay Card" invention. As you will recall, we decided that, before giving further consideration to preparing and filing any Patent Application, we would perform a "pre-filing" search of published Patent Applications and Patents in order to determine whether there already exists identical or similar technology which might prevent you obtaining valid Patent protection for the invention. We agreed that we would perform a search at a maximum cost of 400 plus VAT, and we will endeavour to carry out the search well within this budget whilst still performing a thorough search. We will report to you again with a discussion of the search results once the search has been completed. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
