Welding flux for special applications

UV 309 P (Aluminate-basic)
SA AB 1 65 AC H5
Agglomerated welding flux for spiral and longitudinal pipe welding with general and higher requirements (X52 X80)
UV 420 TTRC
SA FB 165 DC A special variaty of the flux UV420TTR with high basicity. It supports the C-content of the wire electrode while DC-welding.
In comparison with UV420TTR the C-content in the all weld metal is about 0,03-0,04 % higher.
UV 430 TTR-W (Fluoride-basic)
SA FB 1 58 AC Welding flux for the welding of steels with 2 1/4 % Cr 1 % Mo 0.25 % V.
Suitable SAW solid wires are: Union S 1 CrMo 2 V, Union S P 23 and Union S P 24 respectively.

Properties

Marathon 104
SA FB 2 55 AC

Marathon 104 is an agglomerated welding flux of the fluoride-basic type for welding of stainless and
heat resistant steels as well as of Ni-based alloys.

Marathon 213
SF CS 2 63 DC

Marathon 213 is a fused welding flux of the calcium-silicate type for joining and surfacing of creep resistant,
stainless and heat resistant steels and for joining of dissimilar steels.

Marathon 431
SA FB 2 64 DC

Marathon 431 is an agglomerated welding flux of the basic type for welding stainless
high alloyed CrNi(Mo) steels.The beads are smooth and finely rippled.

Marathon 543
SA FB 2 55 DC

Marathon 543 is an agglomerated flux of fluoride-basic type with a high basicity for welding
creep resistant steels like: 12CrMo19-5 (1.7362): Union S1 CrMo 5;
or P 91/T 91, X10CrMoVNb9-1 (1.4903):Thermanit MTS 3;
or X20CrMoWV12-1 (1.4935):Thermanit MTS 4.
The flux is also suitable for welding the new grades P 92 acc. ASTM A 335: with Thermanit MTS 616
and E 911; X 11 CrMoWVNb9-1-1 (1.4905); with Thermanit MTS 911

UV 305
SA AR 1 76 AC H5

UV 305 is an agglomerated flux for the manufacture of longitudinal and circular seam welding with two-run
welding proccess, especially for very thin wall thickness (<10mm; for example L.P. Gas Bottles). It is
particularly well suited for welding of water walls (tube-web-tube joint) boiler casing for power plant.
