Work History:
Company: Experian (Randstad) Job Title: Customer Service Administrator (Background Checking) Dates of Employment: 28/05/2013 Current My role at Experian, the UKs largest credit check company, saw me situated in the background checking team within the operations department. It is my teams job to handle new tenancy applications on behalf of letting agencies across the country. My day-to-day role requires me to make outbound calls to both employers and landlords to obtain references. I have to work towards daily and monthly targets. Also, because we do not use an automatic dialler, it is completely my responsibility to maintain a high level of productivity and keep myself motivated. This job has developed my communication and people skills even further. Company: HEROtsc (WebHelp), Pride Park, Derby Job Title: Outbound Telesales Agent Dates of Employment: 11/06/2012 - 01/2013 HEROtsc Derby currently acts as a contact centre for Sky Television (BskyB) offering Customer service, Technical Support and both Inbound and Outbound sales teams. I received training for and worked as an Outbound Sales Agent. My typical day to day tasks mainly required me to contact existing customers to try and persuade them to upgrade their current television package and purchase further services. However despite having to meet sales targets, I spent a lot of my time discussing customers technical problems and general queries with them to ensure that they were happy with the service they were receiving. The more admin side of the job role involved me managing customers accounts on a large computer system, updating their personal details and billing options. Due to the nature of this information I had to ensure that everything I did was done in line with strict data protection laws. Company: Grange News, Bramcote Lane, Wollaton, Nottingham Job Title: Shop Assistant Dates of Employment: 23/01/2011 01/06/2012 My job title whilst working for Grange News was officially a Shop Assistant, however my role extended far beyond this as I was trusted with opening and closing the shop on my own at 5am and 10pm respectively. This involved duties like being completely responsible for the securing of all the shop cash taking throughout

the day, registering and logging specific details on the shops computer systems and managing the stocking of the shop on a weekly basis. Also, because I was on my own at the shop for the majority of my shifts each week, any complaints from customers or other businesses were handled entirely by me. The rest of my time was filled by doing typical day-to-day general shop duties. Company: Smiths News PLC Job Title: Warehouse Operative Dates of Employment: 03/10/2010 - 09/12/2010 My role at Smiths News PLC involved me doing heavy manual labour 4 days a week in a busy warehouse environment. From the start to finish of every one of my shifts, I was required to work in a team to move heavy pallets of magazines and newspapers around a large warehouse. Once all the publications for the day were stored in the correct locations I would then begin to pick customers order and box them up ready for delivery. Although this wasnt the most glamorous job, I believe it taught me how to work very well in a team. Company: Frontier Field Marketing (On behalf of Apple) Job Title: POS and demo unit installer 27/5/2010 I was employed by Frontier Field Marketing on behalf of Apple to go into retail stores to safely and successfully set up brand new Apple iPad displays to exact measurements. I attended a 3 hour briefing along with a few select people to discuss the specifics of the installation task in more depth which was led by a senior representative from Apple. The actual job itself required me to visit PC World, Mansfield out of normal working hours to set up and secure all of the stores demo iPad display models the night before the official launch. Due to the high profile status of the product launch, all alterations I made in store had to be photographed and submitted for approval before I was able to sign off. This involved me liaising with a team in the UK and Apples base in New York, USA to gain confirmation that the work had been completed to a high standard. 27/07/2010 I was also called back by Frontier at the request of Apple to complete another installation for another store following the same

rules and procedures. This was also the case for the following iPad 2 launch a year later. However I have not listed this in greater detail as it involved exactly the same style of work and can be verified by Frontier Field Marketing if necessary.

Other Experience:
During my time at school, I completed a weeks work experience at The Nottingham Property Services, Bramcote Lane, Wollaton, where I had the responsibility of updating documents on their computer system, filing house details, general admin work such as photocopying, scanning, operating the security lock for the front door and dealing with queries from customers. I am currently a voluntary referee for roller hockey and as mentioned before I also coach youngsters aged between 5-17 years old. I have a BRSF Level 2 coaching award in roller hockey and have been CRB checked which allows me to coach on my own. Coaching has helped me to develop great leadership and people management skills.
