WHAT IS CORREL?
The Corporate Relations Department is responsible for dealing with external entities and for funding MEcO's projects and events through sponsorships and tie-up ventures. It also aims to build long-term relationships with corporations and social institutions.

NATIONAL STUDENT-INVESTORS CONVENTION
MEcOs flagship project. Investment experts and practitioners, global economists, and foreign investors will discuss the current role of investments in the national economic situation.

Inter-school online stock simulation tournament. Seminars before the tourname nt - designed to equip the participants with the basic knowledge of investment in stocks in the Philippine context

INVESTMENT FAIR
Weeklong expo featuring all of MEcOs partner investment broker companies and other financial intermediaries. Aim is to provide the Ateneo student body an opportunity to start investing through our partners. Students can inquire how to start and register at the event. One week in the first semester and another week in the second semester.

A three-part business investment talk series that will be held within the school year. The talk/forum/seminar will feature experts in investing and portfolio management who will present the basics of investing

KAPIHAN
Kapihan are talks on special topics on finance and investing. It will be held every month and will just be set in a small classroom. One speaker will be invited every month and they are to give a talk on their field of expertise to an audience of about 30 people. These talks will be catered to the intermediate or advanced investor and some talks will be focused in the different avenues of investing other than the financial markets.

EMPORIA/SHOWDOWN
Emporia is the annual Christmas bazaar held outside the Ateneo campus. Emporia provides a wide variety of gifts and treats for early Christmas shoppers by getting over 60+ concessionaires and also it also provides an opportunity to both student-entrepreneurs and nonstudent entrprenuers to sell their products in an urban setting. Showdown is the programs portion of Emporia. It is a talent show that will bring in skills of different people such as singing, dancing, and anything that is worthy ofshowing on stage.

ESPLANADE
Esplanade is the week long annual bazaar held inside campus. It caters to LS students and other student entreprenuers who wish to kick start their businesses.

Fund Raising Challenge
FRC is one of the projects that let the Project Executives creative juices flowing. It aims on making reality the many ideas of MEcOnistas that are geared towards fund generating activities.

PRIMER
Primer is a whole day event that introduces the incoming AB Management Economics freshmen to life as a student and a MEcOnista. The event aims to build camaraderie with their fellow coursemates and to get them prepared for college life!

LTS
LTS is a 3-day event that is usually held out of town. More than just another place for member to get to know each other, LTS aims to hone the skills of those members who have the potential to become future leaders of MEcO.

GA2/BULLFIGHTS
GA2 - Bullfights is held at the beginning of the second semester and is an avenue for members from different batches to bond through sports and games. This is also an intra-organization activity which allows the participants to fully integrate financial and investment strategies in real-life situations. Conceptualized after the famous game-show The Amazing Race wherein there are certain pit stops and detours which participants have to face, contestants use their intellectual (solving financial ratios, etc.) and physical skills (running, climbing, etc.) to beat the game and exemplify the Organizations core competency.

TRYST: 2014
Now on its 8th year, Tryst has establishd itself as one of the biggest and hottest Valentines Party in the metro. With hundreds of attendees ever year, Tryst is, definitely, one of the best nights that every party-goer will ever have. Also, it is a fundraising event for MEcOs microfinance CSR program, MIDAS, which teaches business principles and finance practices to micro-entrpreneurs.
