WELCOME AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

WE GATHER TO GLORIFY GOD

PRELUDE Andante in D Major CALL TO WORSHIP One: Many: One: Many: One: Many: Felix Mendelssohn, 1809-1847 from Psalm 34

We will bless the Lord at all times. Gods praise is always on our lips; in the Lord our souls shall make their boast. The humble shall hear and be glad. Together let us praise Gods name! We sought the Lord and were heard, from all our terrors set free. Look toward God and be radiant; let your faces not be ashamed. When the poor cry out, the Lord hears them and rescues them from all their distress. Taste and see that the Lord is good. They are happy who seek refuge in the God of our salvation.

HYMN 376 (Blue Hymnal) Love Divine, All Loves Excelling

Hyfrydol

PRAYER OF CONFESSION Merciful God, We confess we prefer our way. We prefer our habits, our systems, ourselves. Sometimes we want to hear from you, but many times we would prefer you not interrupt. It is just easier. Forgive such selfishness. Free us from the bondage of self; open us to your way. Break our ways, habits, and systems that are more about us than about your will. We pray in the strong, healing name of Jesus the Christ. Amen. ASSURANCE OF PARDON ALLELUIA (All sing the Alleluia after the organ introduction.) Celtic
