DESIGN CONSULTANCY 1.

Project Budget Establish a Concept budget target on the basis of adopted project strategy and taking into account work breakdown structure to client. However the budget estimate shall be prepared in accordance with the design proposals of Architect/ Engg Consultants. 2. Construction Cost Management Administer and monitor the budget throughout the project. Provide the client with information on the financial status of the project, actual cost against cost plan and forecasts, and impact of change orders. Forecast anticipated cost needed to complete the project. Quantity surveying Administer, monitor and check the contractor claims submitted and field check the quantities based on the actual execution done at site. Cross referencing the rate analysis provided by the contractor and makes the necessary corrections before the same is invoiced. Bill certification Administer the contractor invoices raised post to the work completion. The same will be cross verified with the quantity surveying document and the payment recommendation is issued to client. 3. Specifications & Compliance Obtain method statements for the critical activity/item to be executed by the contractors and validate if required. We will examine them along with the Architect (if required) and approve the items for execution. Manage the construction process for each trade to verify that the outside testing laboratories are being utilised properly and that the testing results being provided meet statutory code requirements. 4. Change Order Management Administer and evaluate potential changes to the project from both a cost and schedule viewpoint, making detailed recommendations to client review and comment on contractors assessment of proposed variations in the contract and negotiate, as necessary. Evaluate proposed changes in terms of their impact on design, construction, and operation, proposing remedial action as appropriate. Make recommendations on the settlement of change orders. In conjunction with the Architect and the contractor, advise on the financial implications of delays, extensions of time, accelerations, or disruptions to client. 5. Financial Close-out Our team will solicit the contractors finals invoices, check and certify them. These will thereafter be submitted to client for final payment after retention of monies/ guarantees as called for by the

contract. PM will also recommend at this stage the applicability of penalties or bonuses payable to contractors for their work.
