Team: Health and Wellness Team Reports to: Clinic Manager FLSA Status: Non Exempt from Overtime Salary range: $15.00-$16.25 Schedule: Regular, FT (40 hours per week) Last Revised: August, 2013

This position provides administrative and clerical support for clinic staff.
This position performs a variety of routine work within established policies and procedures, and receives detailed instructions on new projects and assignments.

Responsibilities/Duties: Takes minutes for all Ilanka staff and all committee meetings, files and distributes Coordinates supply ordering with central supply office Prepares meeting space for meetings as directed Prepares packets for meetings Prepares letters and correspondence as directed Provides backup for front desk staff Maintains accurate filing system for clinic staff, paper and electronic Copies and distributes patient satisfaction surveys Prepares flyers, scanner ads and posts as directed Coordinates web updates and sends them to designated staff General Administrative Support in scheduling, copying and various typical office support activities for all Clinic staff Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) Excellent communication and organizational skills. Attention to detail is of utmost importance. Must have excellent ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Must be able to effectively work with a variety of people and multi task while keeping focused. Ability to communicate well with employees and management. Good attendance and work habits is mandatory. Good skills in word and excel software programs necessary. Ability to keep strict confidentiality laws required. Experience Requirement: Two years office/secretarial experience preferred. Education Requirements: Highschool diploma or equivalent, training or experience in administrative/clerical preferred. Current Alaska Drivers license. Performance standard Regularly sit for long periods of time to complete tasks. Regularly bend, crouch, stand, move about to complete work. Typically lifts 15 lbs to coordinate work. Regularly manipulate electronic data to gather, input and otherwise coordinate work.

Regularly use mental, oral and written methods to complete work. Regularly use mathematical and linear thinking skills to provide accurate, literate work. Environmental Factors Majority of work will be completed in an office within a medical primary care clinic. Exposure to Hazards: Housekeeping Products. Blood/Fluid Exposure Risk: Category II: Usual tasks do not involve exposure to blood, body fluid, or tissues but job has potential for mucous membrane or skin contact exposure to blood, fluids or tissue. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), when appropriate, is required
