Introduction

As the Class of 2013 prepares to enter the profession many of them have already performed in a range of professional contexts. As part of their studies they have been involved in individual professional engagements, workshops, collaborations or co-productions with the following companies and organisations: National Theatre of Scotland / Citizens Theatre, Glasgow / ran Mr, Glasgow / Tron Theatre, Glasgow / The Arches Theatre, Glasgow / Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh / York Theatre Royal / The Royal Shakespeare Company / Pilot Theatre Company, York / Tramway, Glasgow / Playwrights Studio Scotland / ITV / BBC / Scottish Television. Last autumn the students performed Tartuffe by Liz Lochhead and The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde, and at Christmas they performed in the Conservatoires highly regarded family pantomime, Beauty and the Beast by Alan McHugh. From the 30th of May to the 1st of June you will be able to see the students in a double bill of Howard Barkers Victory and The Possibilities at the Tron Theatre, Glasgow.
