@rlj1981 but how do you deliver the factual in a way that pupils are able to regurgitate it in exams? #ukedchat #ukedchat constant struggle in geog with case studies @bapED10 getting the facts across in an engaging method @with_ict remembering definitions, facts and figures @gceyre required to be used in exams, case study information... #ukedchat Gamification. I learnt everything through the original Sid @MrDooleyUK Meiers' Civilisation game. Loads of literature to support it as well. #ukedchat #ukedchat think, pair, share first to see what they already @gillski22 know! @gceyre does it matter? A dose of curiosity, a sense of awe & being allowed to @ICTmagic direct their own learning with questions helps children retain facts. #ukedchat @gceyre I try to keep spellings in groups that relate. Then @nightzookeeper ask ch to complete a task to include them all.
