Following a summerlong layoff, the Southern Oklahoma Leaders Luncheon grew in popularity as seating was filled to capacity for the September event at the Ardmore Convention Center. The featured speaker was Maria Robles Meyers, who discussed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Obamacare). Bryan Gonterman, president of AT&T Oklahoma presented the business highlight. Gonterman discussed the addition of 4G LTE, the latest in wireless technology, to the Ardmore area. The addition, which will benefit both business and individual users, will offer benefits as technology drives progress forward. Gonterman said AT&T has recorded an increase of 30,000 percent in mobile data usage, which is expected to continue to rise as people continually use smartphones and other wireless devices. teacher because of the positive experience school was for me and the teachers that influenced my life. I wanted to help others have that same positive experience. I had coaches that pushed me to be my best, teachers who helped me develop a passion for the subject of science; sponsors who taught me to be a leader.
Q. What are the greatest challenges in education today?

today is making education relevant to the student. We have to make them understand how important it is to their future.
Q. What advice can you offer for someone who wants to go into education?

5 A.

I believe the greatest challenge in education

A. My advice to anyone going into education is to only do it if you have a strong desire to make a difference in children's lives. You will work more hours than you are ever paid, you will be asked to do things not in your job description, you will not be wealthy. However, you will have a wonderful career with many beautiful memories.
