Project Objectives
¾ Enhance and expand library services in west and central
Irving area.
¾ Create a State-of-the-Art destination for residents.
¾ Achieve LEED Certification resulting in reduced utilities cost.
¾ Enhance the site by using native plants and public art.
¾ Integrate the interior spaces of the building and the site
enhancements through the use of glass to maximize views.
¾ House the Bookmobile for a more central service location.
