Notes about Measurement mode

z When the AutoHold setting is OFF, there is no limit in the measurement time. However, the data number to be measured depends on the PC condition. Especially, when the measurement more than the PC capacity is performed, the software may freeze to prevent the data saving, or the OS may stop. Note this risk in the continuous measurement for a long time. When the measurement is considered to take long, it is recommended to set a longer measurement interval. During the measurement, do not perform any operation other than stopping the measurement. MSR format files that are saved with Measurement mode can be opened only in Measurement mode. When data is measured in Measurement mode, following settings in this software reflect the setting of the Meter. Sample ID (F-52, F-53, F-54, F-55, DS-52) Measurement condition setting (for all models) Setting of AutoHold except setting OFF (F-52, F-53, F-54, F-55, DS-52) In the measurement with this software, measurement with interval memory cannot be done. For measurement with this software, the setting of interval memory of the Meter is turned off. (F-52, F-53, F-54, F-55, DS-52) The mV measurement has two types: absolute mV (mV_ABS) and relative mV (mV_REL). For models D-52, D-53, D-54, D-55, F-51 and F-54BW, the measurement should be performed according to the type selection of Meter. For example, when the Meter selects absolute mV measurement mode, the measurement by absolute mV is selected, and so for the relative mV measurement mode. To switch absolute and relative, use CAL key when the Meter is in the mV measurement mode. For the models F-52, F-53, F-54 and F-55, only absolute mV can be measured. In measuring pH and ION with D-53 in Measurement mode, the pH measurement mode and ION measurement mode must by selected by the D-53 Meter. For example, trying to measure ION by this software in D-53 when the pH measurement mode is selected, error is triggered. To perform ION measurement, first move the D-53 to ION measurement mode. In COND measurement, the cell constant is only displayed when it is set by the Meter or when the calibration is performed.

8.10

Cautions in Data Management mode

z z During the data collection, perform no operation other than stopping the data collection. Repeating the data collection without clearing the data keeps on adding another data on the list window. This means, even though the maximum memory number of the Meter is 300, data more than this capacity is going to be created and acquired. There is no limit for the data number to be saved, but when the data more than the PC hard disc capacity is accumulated, the software may freeze to prevent data saving or the OS may stop. The data number should be few as possible.
