OCS was paged to check the fiber, but before that happene d it was discovered that the switch was hard coded to 100 MB while the GigE adap ter en3 on TIPE1901 was set to autonegotiate. This condition is known to cause p roblems of this nature. The switch was set to autonegotiate and the problem was resolved. TIPE1901 has now completed it's backup, having archived 7,018 objects totalling 11.83 GB in just under 12 minutes. The dispatch to OCS was cancelled a nd the PR is being closed. TD's take note: Throughout the call, which lasted for about 3 hours(23:30-2:30am), each of them went above and beyond the call of duty to help bring the issue of archiving thes

e backup logs under control. What follows is the latest update for the archive of the backup logs for the fol lowing servers: tipe501 is done, at 14.4Gb. tipe601 is done. tipe701 is done. Tipe801 is done. sipa601 still running. Sipb1101 still running. Sipb1201 still running. tipe 1901 and tipe2001 have been finished. (James was able to go in thru a control workstation to access the servers, since he did not have a login to access them) Sipb1101 is done. sipb901 still running. sipd301 still running.. sipd401 still running. sipb10010-still running, sipb1201 -still running. James Chapman, should be able to provide status of completion for the jobs that are still running. BMART In House, Please make sure all relevant SA's are notified of this resolution. I have incl uded some on this email, but am certain that I don't have them all listed. Thanks Chris
