2. Common Leakage Faults Leakages were caused by the damages of o-rings. O-rings are set in two positions 10 and 11 as indicated in the drawing . Below procedures can be referred for O-rings replacing. Once leakage happen, first to check and replace the O-ring in position 11, mostly the matter can be solved. If leakage still exist, then check and replace the other position 10 o-ring.

the position as indicated in no. 2 drawing ( belows ) (the trigger will be totally over the surface of ball in the valve, not affect ball valve to open & close. Due to device itself position limit, just notice the force when turn the lifting nut. )

Drawing No. 2 2 close ball valve (part 7) 3 remove the fixation bolt(part 6) 4 use wrench to clamp the flat channel of jacket (part 5), turn it to separate, as indicated in no. 3 drawing.

Drawing no. 3 5 take out o-ring30X3.55 (part 11) and check whether damage or notif damage, to replace the new onespare parts were supplied together pig signaller. notespread some grease when to replace o-ring. 6 Take the opposite procedures mentioned above, to assemble. After assembly, try to pressurize again to check the leakage. Mostly the matter can be solved.

If leakage again, necessary to take below procedures to replace the o-ring in position 10. 2 Troubleshooting procedures on O-ring 11.2X2.65 in position 10: 1 Remove fixation bolt (part 13), disassemble flag part (part 14). 2 Use wrench to remove fixation support. 3 Use screw-drive to remove 4 nos bolts, then to disassemble singal transducing component (part 1).

4 Insert special wrench into lifting nut (part 3), turn the lifting nut, to drop screw rod (part 12)
to the position as indicated in no. 4 drawing ( belows ) , to obtain enough space to take out the pin(part9) 5 Pad a wood block (as indication in no. 4 drawing), and grinding, use rounded head needle with diameter less than or equal to the pin (part 9) to knock , to take out the pin.

6 Take out internal part (part 2), to replace o-ring 11.2X2.65 in position 10 .

7) Take the opposite procedures mentioned above, to assemble, and finish the maintenance. Pressurize again to check the leakage situation. notetwo ends of the pin (part 9 ) should be riveted firmly when assembly. spread some grease when to replace o-ring.
