Customizing Infotype

Using IMG -> PM -> PA -> Customizing User Interfaces -> Change Screen Modifications...accessing MP090000/scn 2000 only shows four fields: P0900-VKORG; P0900-VKBUR; P0900-VKGRP; P0900-SORTL. We need an additonal field to track a yes/no permission. On SE11 accessing PA0900 it shows several other fields including four flag fields. (FLAG1 NUSED). How do I make one of these fields active on my infotype?

Sanjiv Agarwal replied May 10, 2006 you can use transaction PM01 to enhance any infotype. Enter IT 0900 and then you can create a CI Include with the additional fields you want from the structure. 0

Yes, please never use unused fields from SAP, it's a big gambling since SAP can use them anytime. As stated before, secure the future and use the Customer Include (CI) contained in each infotype, and add your specific fields. For the structure P0900, we have CI_P0900. kavitha_1891 replied May 11, 2006 =A0HI, What you can do is.. Go to transaction PM01, click 3rd tab @IT. Enter infotype number and click Create All. This navigates to create CI_Pnnnn include for the structure, here you can enter the new fields you require. The field names must be 5 characters and start with ZZ or YY. Save and activate. If the screen for the infotype is not 2000, you must click and enter the module pool name and an alternative screen number. Note: You cannot enhance Time Infotypes (2000-2999), or infotypes 0000 to 0302. PD Infotype enhancement is not fully supported. Hope this helps! For any further clarifications mail me...
