The maximum benefits from using HD voice on a compatible mobile network are realized when both calling and called party use HD voicecapable phones. Improvements in call quality are also observed even when using an HD voice-enabled phone to call a non-HD voice phone, due to improvements in the acoustic performance and advanced noise reduction capabilities of most HD voice phones. The GSA (Global mobile Suppliers Association) will be celebrating its 15th Anniversary with member companies and invited industry guests in London next month. Our first official meeting was held in Zurich in October 1998 with support from many of the leading mobile companies, said Alan Hadden, GSA President, who will host the event on behalf of GSA members. Over the past 15 years the GSA has grown to almost 60,000 registered members who use our reports and data to support their businesses and gain a better understanding of the industry as well as existing and new mobile technologies. The 15 year anniversary will be a great opportunity to thank all those individuals and companies that have contributed to, and supported GSA and have been part of the mobile industry success story. About the GSA GSA represents leading mobile suppliers worldwide and its role and strategy is to inform, educate, and influence opinion about mobile communications using 3GPP technologies, which include GSM/EDGE, WCDMA-HSPA/HSPA+, and LTE/LTEAdvanced LINKS Website: www.gsacom.com GSA LinkedIN group: www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=2313721 www.twitter.com/gsacom www.facebook.com/pages/Global-mobile-Suppliers-Association-GSA/ 123462771012551
