Harry Gill, Barrington Braithwaite, and the documents that indict Bharat Jagdeo Dear Editor, I refer to the

letter by Harry Gill captioned If Mr. Brathwaite can produce documents that can indict Jagdeo, I would be willing to help expose such evidence (KN 9 30 13), and would appreciate the opportunity to rebut. Gill's comments reflect a stunning indifference to the available and obvious fact, truth, detail and evidence that indicates his challenge is foolishness masquerading as scholarship, eerily reminiscent of the callous indifference and delusion usually shown by Vishnu Bisram (are these two related?) US Ambassador Brent Hardt commented recently that "... That is where the focus has to be here in Guyana to look at how it investigates and prosecutes corruption. Will we see a high level official prosecuted for corruption? And if not, maybe you need to ask yourselves whether you need to strengthen institutions to get to that point where you can pursue a corruption investigation... Can anyone doubt the significance of these words? He essentially echoes the sentiments of APNUs David Granger. Mr. M. Maxwell has already addressed the putrid hypocrisy that accompanies the disease of Guyanese corruption under Gills idol Bharat Jagdeo in the online article This Is Financial Rape and Economic Slaughter (http://www.kaieteurnewsonline.com/2013/09/05/this-is-financial-rape-and-economicslaughter/ ). These are strong words, and Mr. Gill will not respond! So we asked in "Greed, Genocide ... and now 'Green': Corruption and Underdevelopment in Guyana " (http://www.scribd.com/doc/17958657/Greed-Genocide-and-now-Green-Corruption-andUnderdevelopment-in-Guyana ) that Mr. Gill and Mr. Jagdeo address the as yet unexplained deaths of hundreds of young Black Guyanese before and during the tenure of Mr. Jagdeo. They will not respond. Nor will they respond to the issues raised in "Frederick Kissoon and Ideological Racism in Guyana" (http://www.scribd.com/doc/123360244/Frederick-Kissoon-and-Ideological-Racism-in-Guyana ) and Bharat Jagdeo, Reepu Daman, Vishnu Bisram, Enmore Martyrs Day and an Indefatigable Hypocrisy (http://www.scribd.com/doc/137747639/Bharat-Jagdeo-Reepu-Daman-Vishnu-BisramEnmore-Martyr%E2%80%99s-Day-%E2%80%A6-and-an-Indefatigable-Hypocrisy ). So we asked in "The Marginalization of Persons of African Origin In Guyana" (http://rogerwilli.blogspot.com/2009/07/marginalization-of-persons-of-african.html ) that Mr. Gill and Mr. Jagdeo address Lincoln Lewis' issue of "economic genocide" against Blacks and Kean Gibsons "corruption that is ruinous to the state" in Guyana before and during the tenure of Mr. Jagdeo. They will not respond. So we asked in "Bharat Jagdeo, Winston Brassington and Amaila Hydro: Who's Going to Jail for This?" ( http://www.scribd.com/doc/164966357/Bharat-Jagdeo-Winston-Brassington-and-AmailaHydro-Who%E2%80%99s-going-to-jail-for-this ) whether any past or future government in Guyana, or for that matter in CARICOM, could ever get away with such unprecedented levels of killing, torture, greed, deception, misinformation and thievery. Mr. Gill and Mr. Jagdeo will not respond.

So someone asked in "Revisiting Torture and Ethnic exclusion in Guyana" (http://www.caribbeanamericanforum.com/?p=828 ) whether Terrence McKenzie (his lacerated back is shown in this article) and other Blacks in Guyana were being treated in the past 20 years in a manner justifying Gill's admiration for Jagdeo. Gill, Jagdeo and Kwayana will not respond. So the Stabroek News asks in "30,012 Gun Licences, Guyana Review June 1999" ( http://www.scribd.com/doc/7239199/30012-Gun-Licences-Guyana-Review-June-1999 ) whether the reckless distribution of gun licences (and presumably weapons) to ethnic segments of the population (the amount may have doubled or tripled by now) represents the untold linkage between the spiraling crime in the society. Gill, Jagdeo and Kwayana will not respond. So we ask in Mr. Gill to address his slobbering self-conceit and gawking gullibility by rationalizing the following comment in the article Shaheed Roger Khan: Drugs, Dirty Money and the Death Squad ( http://www.stabroeknews.com/2009/guyana-review/08/20/shaheed-%E2%80%98roger%E2%80%99khan-drugs-dirty-money-and-the-death-squad/ ) : Shaheed Roger Khan was one of the most complete criminals in Guyanas history. He acquired vast p r o p e r t i e s , r e c r u i t e d s e r v i n g p o l i c e o f f i c e r s , o r d e r e d e x e c u t i o n s , i m p o r t e d a n d e x p o r t e d c o c a i n e , laundered millions of dollars, possessed specialised intercept equipment and armed himself with a wide assortment of handguns and ammunition. A l l o f t h i s w a s possible only because of his special r e l a t i o n s h i p w i t h t h e G u y a n a G o v e r n m e n t . H e e n j o y e d i m m u n i t y f r o m a n i n d u l g e n t administration and compliant law enforcement agencies. Even now, the administration has made no attempt to conduct official inquiries nor has the police force attempted to bring Khan and his well-known accomplices to justice Note the above phrase A l l o f t h i s w a s p o s s i b l e o n l y b e c a u s e o f h i s s p e c i a l r e l a t i o n s h i p w i t h t h e G u y a n a G o v e r n m e n t . . . is significant. We are speaking of the government headed by Bharat Jagdeo. All of this is also unprecedented in Guyanas history. Gill, Jagdeo and Kwayana will not respond! Gills comments are in the main foolishness masquerading as scholarship! He should cease and desist. Because we have not even touched the Kaieteur News online article The HEIST OF GUYANA Continued (http://www.kaieteurnewsonline.com/2013/09/22/the-heist-of-guyana-4/ ). The reason? Harry Gill, Bharat Jagdeo and Eusi Kwayana cannot respond! And because Bharat Jagdeos recklessness and self-aggrandizement has placed the future pensions and benefits of untold thousands of Guyanese in jeopardy via the article "Deficits projected for NIS after this year, IMF report says," (SN, July 3, 2011;

http://www.stabroeknews.com/2013/news/stories/09/27/current-situation-at-nis-not-sustainableluncheon/ ). Emile Mervin (comments to that article) summarizes the tragedy as follows: - US$30M of NIS money lost when Clico collapsed on Jagdeo's watch. - US$4M from NIS went to build the Caricom Secretariat. - GY$6B from NIS went to build the Berbice Bridge (but ONLY private investors are reaping their rewards). - GY$600M was what the broken NIS paid for the Clico building now housing the GRA. How significant is the fact that Roger Luncheon, Head of the Presidential Secretariat, has been the Chairman of the NIS (National Insurance Scheme) for the past 20 years? If none of the investments above resulted in a credible return on investment for the NIS, then what, exactly, does Mr. Luncheon mean by the words NIS was not forceful in dealing with the situation (KN 10/01/2013; NIS Registers Alarming 25% Drop in Employers; http://www.kaieteurnewsonline.com/2013/10/01/nisregisters-alarming-25-drop-in-employers/ ). He seems completely oblivious to the fact that he as Chairman, and without whose approval none of the investments could have taken place has had 20 years to do something about employers contributors while allowing shocking depletions of its funds! This, I suspect, will be the subject of Christopher Rams and Lincoln Lewis next analysis. That Maxwells idea of financial rape and economic slaughter (using the deliberate and callous disembowelment of the National Insurance Scheme and the future of ordinary Guyanese) is real becomes even more evident when one understands the subsequent casual and non-NIS spending of many more millions of US$ on the Amaila/Marriott/Berbice-Bridge schemes. The fact that the General Manager of the failed Clico Insurance service is later implicated in The HEIST OF GUYANA Continued (http://www.kaieteurnewsonline.com/2013/09/22/the-heist-of-guyana-4/ ) may be food for thought for some analysts. But Gill and Jagdeo will not respond to this crime! A putrid hypocrisy . Yours faithfully Roger Williams 9/30/13
