The primary objective began in the spring of 1986 and progressed upwards till the early 21st century. Over 80 billion dollars was accumulated to this secret project. CADILLAC GAGE Model V-800 COMMANDO: V8 and V8A

2010: Classified P-80 Deadly Secret: The V-800 is a rapid entry design due to the emerging threat to US forces around the globe. It wasnt meant to fill the shoes of the Stryker IFV M1126 or LAV-3 but too augment it where it was needed. Needless to say the P80 project acquired 36 of them and their brothers the V-600. The V-800 has a much larger engine providing 400 bhp in a 6-cylinder diesel engine and fuel tankage was increased 33% due to the 18,000 Kg of weight it proposed and the range required for response. Model V-600 for comparison:

V-800 ASSAULT COMMANDO: V8 - WIFV

The only difference in the V-800A is that it contains an electrical operated turret mounting a 25mm Hughes chaingun. This turret also is complete with a 7.62mm mg mount for various mmgs such as the M60 or M240 MMG. The base load crew of the V8/V8A is the following Commander/Commander-gunner Driver/Driver Gunner/Gunner + Loader + 10 troops with a full load of gear (65 lbs) each. The top deck aft of the turret can house/carry extra gear up to but not over another 500 lbs. Thus allowing an additional passenger arrangement of 6 extra personnel plus gear topside. In all the V8 can hold a crew of 20 personnel inside for a limited duration in minimal comfort at arms length reach. It is recommended that SAR Teams and Combat Teams stay to the 10-12 man sizes to ensure Air filtering and NBC/CBR missions risks are lowered.

The V-800HL Hypocrites Lab Carrier: V-8HLC

Normally unarmed this version of the V8 is upgraded in power to the engine but no increases in fuel accept what it can carry topside in Gerry cans or steel tanks. The suspension is upgraded somewhat to increase its terrain enhancement but the addition of 2 gas-power generators for medical use also makes it a comfort for its crew. By adding AC units the vehicle is furthered cooled down in the hot summers. In the lab section the crew can stand with an additional 4-foot overhead. This also allowed the installation of 4 stretcher bunks and lighting for medical operations. The medical unit can also tow trailers as needed for other uses such as tents and NBC/CBR equipment. This vehicle can still carry a 20man crew +5 if the medical team is aboard as well. It comes in at 19,500Kg.

The V800+ Medical Facility: V8MF Ambulance O/R

. Adds an operating room and NBC/CBR clean room with 3 vehicle attachment points for pressurized tents. This unit is not meant to carry troops other than wounded ones. The clean room has enough water, solution and medical supplies for 6 major operations. Included are another 2 gas- powered generators bringing the total to 4 plus the onboard one engine mounted one. The crew is a driver and a commander with the doctor, nurse, lab tech, 2 nurses assistants, and possibly a medic or two. The unit can hold 2 wounded in ICU as well with a 4-person stretcher bunk system. This vehicle is meant to be a mobile Operating Room and Emergency Room. The P-80 project has acquired 12 of these vehicles along with 20 Mobile trailers with extensive gear and equipment.
