Drillmec "MR series", mobile trailer and self propelled rigs are used for tipical drilling, workover and well service applications. Drillmec covers this variety of applications by manufacturing a full range of rigs capacities from 60 up to 200 ton. The drawworks, carrier and mast capacities are combined to provide the best performances. The "MR series", fully mechanically driven rigs, are designed to ensure ease of operation in a wide variety of extreme terrain and climatic conditions they enable the operator to work in areas requiring all-terrain vehicles such as in desert, swamp or jungle conditions and artic tundra. Drillmec rigs are designed to satisfy the needs of quick rig-up and easily transportable unit. A wide range of substructures are available including slingshot, parallelogram or box type to suit different well requirements and drill floor heights. The rigs are manufactured with high strenght material and equipped with heavy duty hydraulic systems capable of providing power for all the hydraulic services. Thanks to the great experience in hydraulic component manufacturing, Drillmec can provide, upon client's request, drilling units with hydraulic top drive outfitting. Drillmec Rigs Standard features: Driller's control panel is located to provide a clear view of the drill floor areas; All decks are checkered plate to ensure a safe anti-slipery walking surface in icy or wet conditions; All rig's components can be designed for operations ranging from - 45 C up to + 50 C; Weather protection on the drill floor area is available; Optional sound-proof shelter for engine is available; Optional heater/cooling systems for engine, hydraulic oil and work areas available.
