Key Players QBNick Marshall WRSammy Coates RBTre Mason DBRobenson Therezie Key Matchups Aggie Rushing vs Auburn Rush Defense o Our running-backs against their talented defensive line and linebackers o Will we be able to establish a good run game? o Will we try out many different running-backs to see what works? Auburn Rushing QB against Aggie Rush Defense o Nick Marshall (QB) combined with Tre Mason (RB) against our defensive line and linebackers o We have been improving our run defense slowly, but surely. Our average yards per carry from games 4-6 is over a yard better than games 1-3. o How will our defense respond to a QB that can run well? o Will it look like Ole Miss 3rd and 4th quarter with Bunetti (Ole Miss QB)? Will the Ole Miss offense have prepared us well? o Luckily, as long as Marshall is the QB, we can assume Auburn will run the ball the majority of the time Johnny Manziel against Auburn Secondary o Passing is probably our best option for gaining yardage and scoring o Need to watch out for interceptions though (Robenson Therezie) o However, with Auburns tremendous defensive line, how much time will Johnny have in the pocket? What to Watch For Floyd Raven at Safety o Had very good eyes last game (according to Sumlin, Snyder, and Ben Malena). o Will having him back make a big difference? o Is he 100%? Trey Williams and Tra Carson o Last week Trey Williams was, by far, our most impressive runningback (he was finally 100%). However, Tra Carson surprisingly saw almost no playing time after having his best game against Arkansas. Will Trey and Tra see more playing time this week? Is Brandon Williams still injured?

Turnovers o Auburn has a negative turnover margin of -0.5 per game. Look for us to try and capitalize on that o They are #11 in the SEC for turnover margin o We are #2 in the SEC for turnover margin o However, Auburn has scored 42 points off 10 turnovers this year while only allowing opponents to score 10 points of their 11 turnovers Offensive Line Penalties (Texas A&M) o Our offense, Clarence McKinney, and Jake Spavital firmly believe that the only thing that stops our offense is ourselves (penalties and turnovers). Looking back at previous gamesthis looks to be very true. o Will our offensive line continue to get false start and holding penalties? o Will we stop ourselves? Kicking Game Confidence o The game ball last week was given to Josh Lambo. o Players and coaches are starting to have great confidence in him o Will this new confidence produce consistent results in field goals and extra points? Travis Labhart o Senior (5th year) o On the scout team with Johnny several years ago o Good friends with Johnny (Johnny is comfortable passing to him) o Used to be on the womens basketball practice team o Was a walk-on o Is he the new Ryan Swope? Mike Evans o Will he be 100% for this game? Our Pass Rush o Will we ever be able to establish a pass rush? o Do we need one with such a run heavy offense? Our Defense Has a Little Break o Auburns offense is VERY similar to the Ole Miss offense. o Our defense and coaches feel that this gives us a big break because we will be more used to this offense and have spent two weeks learning it.

What Else You Should Know Deshazor Everett o He is probably probable for this game according to Sumlin. o When asked if he would play in an interview, Sumlin stared at the reporter and said Are you kidding me right now? Im not telling you that. He is probably probable.

Second Quarter Woes o Last game we were shut out in the second quarter. Our second quarter has become our worst quarter by far. In our previous 6 games we only have 8 more points in the second quarter than our opponents. In other words, we outscore our opponents by only 1.33 points in the second quarter. Third Down Conversions o Clarence McKinney wants to have 70% 3rd down conversions (we are at 58% right now) o We are #2 in the SEC for 3rd down conversion o LSU is #1 (hissssssssssssssssssssssss) o Auburn is 3rd in the SEC for limiting opponents 3rd down conversions Penalties o Auburn has the second least penalties of any team in the SEC o We are #1 in the SEC for opponent penalties (teams get lots of penalties against usnot sure whypass interference?) 4th down conversions o Auburn is last in the SEC for 4th down conversions (28.6%) Red Zone o Auburn is #2 in the SEC for Red Zone Offense o Auburn is #2 in the SEC for Red Zone Defense o They tend to do well in the Red Zone Johnny Manziel on Third Downs o Johnny has a Quarterback Passer Rating of 99.6 on 3rd downs! o He is on track to having the best 3rd down QPR in all of college football in the last 10 years. All Time Record Against Auburn o 3-0 o We have never lost to Auburn (not even when they had Bo Jackson).
