Is looking for a Citrix Engineer This position is for a senior SQL Citrix, MSFT Windows and MSFT SQL Db support engineer with at least 7 - 15 years of experience supporting the technical functions inclusive of the database (sql ) in a dynamic environment. Interpreting requirements to design systems is also an important skillset. The appropriate candidate will have excellent English and communication skills, as they will be expected to update service requests, runplans and participate in client status meetings with Director and VPlevel client contacts. The primary support hours require U.S.A standard timezones working hours, inclusive of some nights or weekends in the event of production patching or upgrades. This engineer may perform one or more of the following: Designs and implements system requirements for customers and analyzes existing systems. Will be responsible primarily for design, install, administration, maintenance and upgrades for Citrix systems, versions 4.0, 4.5, 5.0 and 6.5 Some responsibility for administration, maintenance, and tuning of SQL databases. Solid MSFT Windows support background a must Perform database modeling, Logical & Physical Design, inclusive of clustering and mirroring where applicable. Provide technical support, installation and maintenance of customers services to ensure that the system is functioning according to specifications and service level agreements. Provides answers to customer inquiries concerning system software and applications. Provides support in problem diagnosis, escalation, and resolution. Responsible for all disaster planning, backup and recovery. Responsible for basic script writing and parallel query. Install client software on Citrix systems as defined. Perform system recovery and data modeling. Researching and making recommendations on tools for maintenance, backup and recovery. Keep abreast of required upgrades in software and database. Plan /Execute clustering of databases / application servers and stand by process schedulers for maximum availability for all applications. Provide infrastructure documentation as required (e.g. Network and connectivity schemes, Hardware specifications, logical and physical architecture drawings) Review Business Blueprint and provide feedback (infrastructure impact, capacity requirements, other non-functional requirements), justify any deviation from the PDD efforts with appropriate rationale. Mitigate performance problems before go-live based on performance test results, including performance /Hardware tuning activities. Review System Cutover and migration plans and provide feedback.

Perform tuning and reporting and make recommendations to improve performance as required. Update Procedures Manual, Asset database, maintenance schedules, monitoring, reporting, patching, update, capacity and refresh plans as necessary to reflect implementation of the project and related tasks. Perform application monitoring to verify the processing condition of the application Software. Recommend industry standard support procedures. Install, configure and maintain version modifications, release modifications and patch modifications. Perform fault isolation, troubleshooting and failure recovery for all in-scope Software. Installs and maintains midrange or NT operating systems and related software to ensure stable performance. Evaluates system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Develops, tests, installs, and modifies computer software for operating systems, compilers, utilities, multiprogramming, and Enterprise Resource Planning systems. Define, develop, schedule and monitor IT System housekeeping tasks. Develops and installs programs for large-scale or high volume transactions. Develops and installs programs to support general business applications. Evaluates and installs database management systems. Plans computerized databases, including base definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines and protection. All other duties as assigned.
