2.1.1Components

A.ChargethebatterybyconnectingUSBdatalinewithacomputerorwiththeApplecharger
B.InstallSIMcardsasthefollowingdirections

Note:SocBluedoesnotsupporthotswapoftheSIMcard.AftertheSIMcardisinstalled,
firstlyyoumustpoweroffyourSocBlueandrestartitthenyoucanmaketheSocBluebein
thependingconnectionstate.

2.1.3Startup,Shutdown,Restorefactorysettings

A.Startup:Pressonthepowerbuttonfor3seconds,andreleaseitafterthestatuslight
turnswhite.Thenthedeviceentersthestartupprogram.
B.Shutdown:Pressonthepowerbuttonfor3seconds,andreleaseitafterthestatuslight
turnsred,whiteandblueatthesametime.Then,thedeviceenterstheshutdownprogram.
C.Restorefactorysettings:Underthestartupstatus,useathimbleorothersimilartoolto
aimattheresetholeandpressonitfor3seconds,andthenthedeviceisrestarted.

2.2BeforeInstallation
2.2.1ThestateofSocBluebeforeinstallation
InsertGSMSIMcard,andmakesurepowerofftheSocBlueandrestartit.Then,theSocBlue
isinthependingconnectionstate.

2.2.2ThestateofClientbeforeinstallation
A. The Client (iTouch/iPad/iPhone, etc.)must have Cydia software

to download and

installtheSocBluesclientsoftware.
B.Pleasemakesuretheclient(iTouch/iPad/iPhone,etc.)beinthenetworkservice(WiFi,3G,
GPRS,chooseanyoneofthem).
