Size F/5 crochet hook or size
needed to obtain gauge
2-inch plastic ring
20 inches 2 1/4-inch-wide pink ribbon
2 yds 1-inch-wide pink ribbon
Silk flowers
Hot-glue gun
Sewing needle and thread
Tapestry needle

Front
Row 1: Beg at top, with white, ch 6, 2
dc in 4th ch from hook, 2 dc in next
ch, 3 dc in next ch, turn. (8 dc)

out), 2 dc in next st, dc in each of next
2 sts, 2 dc in last st, turn. (12 dc)
Row 3: Ch 3, dc in each dc across, turn.

Trim
Rnd 39: Working in ends of rows up
side edge of back, sl st in first row,
ch 1, sc in same row, [ch 2, 2 hdc in
same st, sc in next row] rep across
to foundation ch, sl st in rem lp of
each st across opposite side of
foundation ch, working down oppo-
site side, ch 1, [sc in next row, ch 2,
2 hdc in same row] rep across to
bottom edge, do not fasten off, draw
up a lp, remove hook.
Joining & Front Trim
Holding front and back with WS tog,
matching Row 44 of front and Row
38 of back and working through both
thicknesses, pick up dropped lp, sc
in first st, [ch 2, 2 hdc in same st, sk
1 st, sc in next st] rep across bottom,
working around edges of front only,
[sc in next row end or st, ch 2, 2 hdc
in same row end or st] rep around
outer edge, join in beg sc, fasten off.
Hanger
Attach yarn to plastic ring, ch 1, sc
over plastic ring until covered, join
in beg sc, leaving a length of yarn,
fasten off.
Finishing
With WS of front facing, place on a
flat surface. With sewing needle
and thread, sew 2 1/4-inch-wide
pink ribbon down center WS of
front. Fold front over back. With
tapestry needle and length of yarn,
working through both thicknesses,
sew both ends of Rows 25 and 26
of front to Rows 19 and 20 of back.
With back facing, sew Row 1 of
back to Row 6 of front.
Sew hanger to Row 1 of front.
With 1-inch-wide pink ribbon, make a
multi-lp bow and glue to top front.
Glue silk flowers centered over bow.
Place a roll of bathroom tissue in each
opening.
