Rush thinks Bills statement [Former President Bill Clinton said that President Obama should keep his

pledge to allow people to keep their current health care plans, if they like them, under ObamaCare.] presages enhanced efforts to delay implementation of ObamaCare; the inherent contradiction between this effort to socialize 1/6 of the economy and the ability of people to keep what they like [even if /when policies arent tethered to community-rating] will intuitively render Senate-Dems increasingly crazed. The Dems may attempt to blame the GOP [as Mika lamely tried to do on Morning Joe], but even the National Journal scoffed at this effort to change the topic. Indeed, Rush noted that Syria is suddenly dominant in some quarters, and a survey of todays newscasts [MSNBC/CNN] revealed focus on the Philippines, discussion of Hillary beating Christie, and generalized revulsion @ D.C. [not citing a party]. Meanwhile, the SCOTUS will consider HHS Mandate Petitions, as Dems claim Medicaid is ObamaCares early success story and a Dem. Rep. opined that BHO Was Grossly Misleading to the American Public. James OKeefe [who presented effectively at Anastasias Annual $-Raiser in Doylestown, a few weeks ago] CAUGHT ON TAPE ObamaCare Navigators Counseling Applicants to Lie, thus revealing the truth about navigators. {Betcha MSNBC/CNN eschew coverage.} The Wide-Open Race in 2016 Offers Ocean of Possibilities, illustrating by an nbc-poll showing christiefaces-divided-gop and trails-clinton-in-hypothetical-16-race; Palin noted Christie 'Flirtin' with Disaster' on Second Amendment Stance and is 'Disappointed' GOP Establishment Set to Wage War on Tea Party. It is clear why conservatives and the business lobby cant get-along, although FNC is not yet on-board [noting Roves being touted and Bernie Goldbergs claim that Tea Partiers are 'The Real RINOs']. SD-36: State Rep. Gordon Denlinger (R-Lancaster) is running for the open seat of retiring Sen. Mike Brubaker. It's a safe district for the GOP, but a primary battle is likely. {Guzzardi: The Forgotten Taxpayer is pessimistic. Sen. Brubaker had voted for more debt in the Capital Budget, and it appears Rep. Gordon Denlinger will follow his lead. The GOP-Establishment will welcome being joined by a Team Player. Lancaster County is not as conservative as the shallow, superficial and clueless media present as Rep. Gordon Denlingers Capital Budget Debt votes demonstrate. But heyhes pro-life, ya know.} Finally, this physician has suddenly been working on the Holocaust/Genocide Education mandate, as had been introduced overnight-Sunday in one of the marathon-blasts; after having taken a history, interventions were promulgated along the following lines, recognizing thatabsent an amendment the Senate would probably pass the House Bill [rendering elementary/secondary curricula discretionary] after two more readings on the floor. Thus, the following was remitted to the key-players [but recall that critique is invited if anything crucial has been overlooked, following this individual intervention]: Analysis First, note that the last graph of the blast e-mail has been updated [both infra and on scribd]; essentially, the issues being explored related to the unfunded-mandate concept. This is of-interest philosophically, for the sticking-point that has prompted insertion of conditional phraseology is the desire to maximize local-control over the educational process. Second, the expansion of the cc-list includes two staff-people from Mike Folmers officeplus a critic of Common Core [who hosted an SRO-crowd over the weekend @

State College]. These individuals will be exploring what mandates have been promulgated via the PDE and, if necessary, a contact-person who may [if necessary] be called directly for clarifications. Third, this physician is the President of a [Cyber Charter] School Board [which is currently closing] and, thus, there exists justification to deal directly with the PDE regarding curriculum. This could be obviated if the Senate Bill is placed on-hold [inasmuch as it has had 1 of 3 anticipated readings already on the floor, with the timing of others not yet announced]. Synthesis First, a number of ideas were promulgated, primarily to Ms. Jen Smeltz; she will be inand-out throughout this [Session] day, but plans to provide primary-data from the PDEcurriculum. Here, whatever may already serve as precedent may provide an opening through which an expansion of any given topic could then be invoked to encompass Holocaust Education. Second, some who fear unfunded-mandates fear other issues could be shoehorned-in from on-high, despite the fact that a distinction can be made between topics and curriculum. Specifically, it can be mandated that this TOPIC be encompassed in whatever fashion desired, with an optional CURRICULUM [or set of alternatives] being provided to the School Board. Third, others who fear excess-costs associated with teacher-education could be reassured that this would not be mandated and, further, that volunteer resources are eager to be invoked. Therefore, although the ideal model would be to ensure a certified teacher conveyed a comprehensive curriculum, it wouldnt be problematic to mandate ensuring the topic be taught. Therefore First, an amendment to the pending Senate bill could be drafted [through the reference bureau] that would ensure these legitimate practical concerns have been unambiguously addressed. It would MANDATE the TOPIC be taught [in 1-8 and 9-12, per existing structure] by ANY qualified teacher, invoking whatever curriculum/volunteers/training may be available locally. Second, note that this would easily be viewed as having been achieved within customary organizational resources rather than foisting an additional cost-center upon the School Board. And, certainly, the NEED to ensure these phenomena have been conveyed to our youth cannot be denied by any sentient individual, particularly noting this mandate exists in NY/NJ. Third, as a Plan-B, the ability to employ a back-door approach by appending Holocuast to anything else that may exist [in PDEs Core] would necessitate, perhaps, a more extensive re-write. EVERYONE should know that this e-mail represents

NO ONE ELSES VIEWPOINT other than mine, based upon a quick-study of the major forces-at-play [plus the importance of the topic]. This past weekend was the 75th Anniversary of Kristallnacht!
