Grinding Aids for Cement Production

DESCRIPTION
The Gamac Series are liquid dispersants added at the milling stage as grinding aids, strength improvers and pack-set inhibitors for Portland and hydraulic cements. The Gamac Series incorporates the latest technology in the production of grinding aids.

DISPENSING
The Gamac Series are best added using a calibrated dosing pump. The addition point can be the first or second compartment of the mill, ideally via a pipeline on the central axis.

DOSAGE
Gamac 819D - 160 to 320 grams per tonne production. Gamac 900 - 200 to 300 grams per tonne production. Gamac 900S 200 to 300 grams per tonne production Gamac 909 - 200 to 300 grams per tonne production. of cement of cement of cement of cement

RECOMMENDED FOR
The Gamac Series is recommended for the production of: Ordinary Portland cement, Granulated ground blast furnace slag, Fly ash, Blended cements, and Other hydraulic cements.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

The Gamac Series grinding aids are able to reduce the electrostatic residual forces produced on the particle surfaces during the clinker grinding in the cement mill (ball mill). As such, the Gamac Series grinding aids are able to furnish the cement producer with the following benefits: Increases mill productivity and reduces grinding costs and energy consumption. Reduces the tendency of the cement to agglomerate in the mill and pack set in the storage silos. Increases the air separator efficiency. Enhances the air transportation system fluidity. Improves the cement powder fluidity in and out of the cement silos. Note: Gamac 819D was the original product in the Gamac Series. Gamac 900, Gamac 900S and Gamac 909 are enhanced grinding aids formulated on technologically advanced raw materials.

PACKAGING AND STORAGE

The Gamac Series are supplied in 205 litre (230kg) drums or in bulk. The Gamac Series must be stored in a place where temperature does not drop below freezing. If product has frozen, thaw at +30C and agitate until completely reconstituted.

In addition, the Gamac Series grinding aids contain special chemical catalysts that act on the cement to enhance the hydration process. Resulting benefits include: Greater early and ultimate compressive and flexural strengths up to 15% improvement. Faster setting.
