However, is curious to find a wellestablished cultural expression of vernacular architecture, even in the simplest examples. The concept of the dwelling as an ensemble of successive steps, in which the first component, even though basic, has possibilities of improvement, is a remarkable response to the same existence of the native population. If accompanied by an economic impulse and some organizational discipline, the improvement of the dwellings will be relatively easy and economic.
