This is the final edition of AIA-360-T111 tentatively issued on January 11, 2012 and delivered on January 20. The serial number on page 2 marked in green has been fixed.
The AIA-360 system program has been upgraded to V1.31. The system program contains the objects with their version numbers as below.

Upgraded functions and fixed points 1.1 Time and Date Settings When you input a date or time on the DATE/TIME screen, it might not properly change if the format specified in the 5. DATE DISPLAY on the SYSTEM SPEC. screen was set to MMDDYY or DDMMYY. See the Technical Information AIA-360-T097 for details. This problem has been fixed. (Note) An improper date or time will change to its default. (01 is the default for month or date, and 00 is the one for hour or minute.) See an example below. e.g.) If you input 15/16/11-27:45, it will change to 01/16/11-00:45 (a case of MMDDYY)
1.2 Extension of suction time for specimen If the distance from the home position of the Z-axis of the sampling nozzle to the bottom of the primary tube was 15930 pulses (calculated distance: 119.475 mm) or more and a specimen volume was less than the dead volume, the 5022 SPECIMEN TASK ERROR might occur. This happened due to that the sampling process could not finish in the predetermined time (100 seconds) on the above condition. This problem has been solved by starting the suction earlier by 2 seconds. Since the starting time of dispensing a specimen to the test cup has not changed, the reaction time is the same as it is and there is no effect on the result. 1.3 Communications When measuring 256 samples or more between power-on and power-off, Specimen ID of the

256th sample or later could not be sent to a host computer. This problem has been fixed. 1.4 Change of process of result with IO flag When IO flag was added to an assay result, it has been changed not to calculate and display the concentration. 1.5 Addition of a warning When an assay is canceled by an abort request, a warning like the Figure 1 as below will be printed. The operators manual in the Rev.10 will include this new function.

Figure 1 1.6 New LCD touch panel The LCD touch panel has changed from G321EV5B00X (old model) to G322ED5B00X (new model). See the Technical Information AIA-360-T112 for details on the new model. The new model G322ED5B00X requires the touch panel program V1.10 or above. The old model also can work under the touch panel program V1.10 or above. 1.7 New analyte The assay specifications for the #iE2 (code: 053) and #HCY (code: 097) have been registered in the Test file. See the Technical Information AIA-360-T102 and AIA-360-T107. 1.8 Change of the parameters of #TnI3 The parameters for #TnI3 in the Test file have changed. See the Technical Information AIA-360-T110.

(1) Turn off the power of the instrument. (2) Insert the Media. While pressing the PAPER FEED sheet key, turn the power on. The PROGRAM UPDATE screen is displayed. (Fig. 2)

Fig. 2 (3) Upgrade of the main program (needs about 16 min) Move the * mark to "1:MAINAPPL" and press the UPDATE button. During the upgrade, "WRITING" is displayed at the upper right corner of the screen. After it turns to "COMPLETED", confirm that the version number at MAIN_APPL of VERSION has been upgraded to 01.31 (Fig 3). Go to next step. (4) Upgrade of the slave program (needs about 2 min) If the version number is not the latest, perform below. Move the * mark to "2:SLAVEAPPL" and repeat the same procedure as (3). Confirm that the version number at SLAVE_APPL is 01.06 (Fig. 3). Go to next step.

During the upgrade, "WRITING" is displayed at the upper right corner of the screen. After it turns to "COMPLETED, go to next step. (6) Upgrade of the touch panel program (needs about 16 min) Move the * mark to "3: TOUCH PANEL" and press the UPDATE button. During the upgrade, "Receiving Program" is displayed at the center of the screen. (7) After the upgrade of "3: TOUCH PANEL" is completed, the display changes to the screen below. Then turn off the power.

Fig. 4 (8) Turn on the power again. Select "SPECIAL MENU" -> "MAINTE" -> "14. VERSION INFORMATION," and press OK. Confirm that the version numbers are the same as those below.
