Attached is a certified index outlining the requested information from Boston Tower per
the Action request regarding the Presidential 9/11 Commission Follow Up. The facility
has on file the full DAT tape for 9/11/01 covering the period 0950-1444 UTC
(0550-1044 EST). We are unable to copy the DAT tape, however all pertinent
information is contained on the certified re-recordings in each accident file. We also have
on file the original TDLS data tape, which includes both Pre-Departure clearances and
digital ATIS information. This tape covers the period from 8/29/01 through 9/12/01. We
are unable to copy the TDLS data tape as well. Both are available for review upon
request.

Attached are all documents pertaining to September 11, 2001, that have been retained by
Manchester Air Traffic Control Tower. Included are a tabled index of the attached
material, and a CD ROM which contains CDR data for the required period.
Also available are digital voice recordings from September 11, 2001, but were not
included, as Manchester Air Traffic Control Tower did not have direct contact with the
suspect aircraft. These recordings can be provided upon your request by calling me at

The attached CD contains the copied, original September 11, 2001 CDR files. A time
selected output of three hours, beginning at 1000 UTC (0600 Local) and ending at 1300
(0900) Local), was extracted from the original data to create three text files. No filters
other than time were used. The data was extracted with AOS ARTS IIE CDR editor
version 24.26. The files contained on the CD are:
Due to the extensive amount of data only one hundred printed pages of the text file
(CDR_out.txt) which starts at 1000 UTC (0600 Local) are included. If additional printed
materials are needed, they can be provided upon your request, by calling me at
