Enhancing Living Experiences

Creativity Modelled Overhead

In the modern, fast-paced living environment, every aspect of the environment is critical. Most things tend to be modular- scaling up to the requirement (of the time and space), from time to time, on a faster note, with minimum effort and maximum effect. With the built spaces that one moves amongst becoming modes of dynamic expression in both form and function, every component of the space - exterior, interior, walls, floors and ceilings - too is becoming an integral part of the dynamism. While walls and floors have already ensured their space on the designers desk as speciality interior components, now ceilings have also come to decor spaces into speciality ambiences. Particularly the Modular Ceilings- that cover any surface of any size in stunningly appealing look, and with purpose and in quick time too, with minimum effort but optimum efficacy.

Bold n Beautiful
A totally new, novel concept in creating speciality interiors, the modular ceilings are simply bold and beautiful. For, they come with an incredible variety and customisation to scale different surface requirements. Now, the modern modular ceiling can be any of the Vinyls Textures Plasters Metals Foams Practically any interior ceiling - office, auditorium, mall, stadium, hotel, hospital, airport, academia, and home - can now sport a whole new vibrant look, complementing the ambiences visual appeal as well as functionality in its own turn.

Brand Global
That these speciality ceilings are not only brought in association with globally acclaimed brands but also comply with safety and health norms make them all the more reliable. All this is brought to you by Anutone Acoustics Limited in a total designplus-build solution ... from intent to reality.

Designer Ceilings
With an unbelievably broad range of modular ceilings, built spaces can practically sport a designer look, with a mix n match of different options for ceiling surfaces. For instance, lobbies, office functional areas and conference halls can have textures and plasters, executive meeting rooms can be rendered fine decor with vinyls. Corridors, cafeteria etc. can be made durable with metals. And, high-profile spaces like chairmans cabin or executive boardrooms can be imparted premium impact with foams and fabrics. More, the ceiling can be treated with any of the wonderful ranges, yet keep the plenum exposed, making the entire setting a true designer act. In essence, a given built space can sport different looks with - exposed plenum, large format, combinations (multi-product), layers (multi-levels), shapes n sizes (hexagon, octagon etc), curves, perforated & unperforated, SoundSkelet mix n match. In a way, the possibilities are limited only by ones imagination. With a designer ceiling option every time, it is a designers domain! Here are eight great ideas ...

Exposed Plenum
Ceilings can be truly designer and yet extra-functional with some part of the surface covered with modular ceilings, leaving some parts of the plenum exposed. This provides for a distinctly aesthetic look, plus enhanced sound absorption.

Combinations
Plain, and monotonously single-product ceilings turn into fascinatingly appealing surfaces with combinations of different surface finishes. Combining multiple products not only adds to the visual appeal but also contributes to better functionality - a combi of metal and plaster not only does hard service but helps diffuse light elegantly

3
Large Format
Panels sizes up to 1200 x 1200 mm, not only make ceilings refreshingly different from the otherwise boring standard 600x600 mm, but also add more value in looks and costs. Less framework and faster install with an imposing impact statement.

Layers
Doing away space limitations with ingenuity. One drab surface can be transformed into a multi-surface beauty with multiple layers of modular ceilings. Complementing the architectural appeal as well as delivering better acoustics!

4 2

Shapes
Coming away from the regular squares or rectangles, circle and oval shapes can also be customised into the ceilings generating a strong aesthete statement for the designer and the client.

Perf & Unperf

Architectural appeal and sound conditioning blended beautifully with customised plain and perforated panels. Aesthetics maximised and acoustics optimised delivering a unique value proposition to stakeholders.

Curves
Expanding the multi-shape design spectrum furtherthe limitless choices now bring even curves into the ceiling, concave and convex, enabling fascinating turns and twists to the surface overhead

Colour SoundSkelet
Breaking away from the limitation of white framework. Now, even the framework can match the vividity of the coloured panels to weave in a different aesthetic impact, complementing the overall ambience.

6
Green Ceilings
The modular white ceilings from Anutone are unique in that they all are characterised by high light reflectance and thereby consume very little energy for lighting requirement, thereby reducing the carbon footprint. More, they contain no asbestos and do not release any hazardous substances during machining, fitting, or service period. Most contain recycled materials. Which means they are totally eco-friendly, a commitment which forms part of Anutones mission statement - environment sustainability.

VINYLS

TEXTURES

SubTex
For the first time ever in India and SAARC region, here is a high quality, stunningly beautiful yet economic modular ceiling texture panel- brought in by Anutone in association with Owens Corning of the USA. Coming from the famed SoundSoft Respond staple, the subtle textured SubTex ceiling tiles bring to the ceiling and thereby to the ambience High NRC of 0.9- highest for modular ceiling White surface finish- high reflectance, less lighting requirement Large format option - 1200mm x 1200mm ensures less framework, lesser costs but greater aesthetics & faster install Lightweight- does not add to the buildings load* Fast -track - panels can be laid in T-grids even after fitouts Moisture resistance - can withstand humidity upto RH90

Eco-friendly
That the SubTex ceiling panels utilise a core that is eligible to bear the Green Cross label for recycled content makes it environmental friendly. The tile on an average contains 35 per cent recycled glass, with 26 per cent pre-consumer and 9 per cent post-consumer SubTex qualifies for recycled content points under the Materials and Resources section. Other LEED categories also apply depending upon project requirements. For example, its high reflectance ensures less lighting requirement for interiors thus saves energy and reduce the carbon footprint. More, SubTex does not require antimicrobial treatment with fungicide added to inhibit growth of mould or mildew.

With proven credentials of visible form and invisible functions, the SubTex ceilings impart a uniquely different appeal to the whole ambience, besides the ceilings they cover.

Site Considerations
The panels must be removed from the carton with clean gloved hands and handled gently. They must be stored on flat surfaces and must not be allowed to come in contact with water. Soffit slab must be dry and all plenum services installed prior to fitting the tiles in the SoundSkelet framework.

Aesthetics
Besides being durable and performing, the SubTex texture ceilings compliment the aesthetic appeal of the space in that The edges are Square, Steppe or Concealed Steppe edge, post-install, appears suspended from the ceiling, giving out a unique floating visual+ Concealed edge is butt-jointed and fine-bevelled that conceals the T-grid posing an almost seamless look They come in factory-finished global white texture that is nondirectional and makes a monolithic appeal They can be supplied in a good range of colours too, to precisely match any interior design palette

PLASTERS

SoundSnazz Danoline
The coming together of Anutone and Danish acoustics major Danogips opened up a whole new horizon of speciality interior space design with an incredibly different design quotient coming to the hitherto stereotyped gypsum-based ceilings. The SoundSnazz range of new plasters simply bring what a designer discerns as contemporary minimalist design. Some of the key attributes, among the many unique features are Great surface finish- myriad options of perforations Monolithic appeal

Contur
Contur plasters are characterised by fine line markings and perforations that contribute to the form and function of the surface. Due to the scalability of size, they impart a monolithic appeal to the surface while the perforations, which are more distinct than other ceiling types, accentuate the acoustical solution selected, even as they compliment the aesthetic look of the ambience. The Contur plasters are unique not only for design but also for ease of install, all adding up to the value proposition. Choosing fixed dados, arches or folded plaster achieves an elegant framework to the ceiling The tiles are butt-jointed with a fine bevel edge such that the installation results in a concealed T-grid appearance There are no fasteners driven through the tile

Eco-friendly
SoundSnazz plasters contain no asbestos, and release no hazardous substances. More, the Green quality of the panels is unique in that it comes from Dansk Indeklima Maerkning (DIM) labelling.*

Euro norms
The SoundSnazz solutions comply with most Euro ratings: Sound absorption as per EN 20354 Noise isolation as per EN 20140 Fire reaction as per EN 14190 Green as per DIM Strength & Moisture as per EN 520 & 13964 Light reflectance as per DIN 5036-3. Anutone brings three distinct plaster ceilings: Contur Belgravia Markant

Perforations
The Contur tiles come with four varieties of perforations providing quadruple options of design. Contur Quadril - SoundSquare Contur Globe - SoundSircle Contur Micro - SoundPixel Contur Regula - SoundSlate

Framework
The suspension hanger must be fixed to the SoundSkelet Main-T at 1500mm centres and not less than 100mm from the wall angle. Hangers shall be fixed at joints of Main-T. SoundSkelet spacer bars shall be fixed maximum 100mm from the hangers.

*DIM, standing for Danish Indoor Climate, is the first labelling scheme to deal with construction materials in the service phase. It seeks to improve the indoor climate in buildings.

Belgravia
Belgravia plasters are unique in that they bring geometrical characteristics to any ceiling surface chosen for treatment with them. It is simply a grid system that is semi-recessed. A beauty of the system is that it brings effortlessness into installation process even as it delivers a performance that is felt by both the aural and visual senses. Supplied with Steppe Bevel edges, Belgravia panels guarantee a very directionally stable ceiling. That they are less sensitive to damaging the edges, they ensure durability.

Markant
The Markant plaster solution is different from the other two in that it features strong shaded markings between ceiling panels due to stepped (tegular) edge profile. Due to this very characteristic, the ceiling will often be seen designed into a pattern that is adapted to fit the shape of the space. This in turn helps the whole ceiling design lightweight and also dynamic. The fine bevelled and stepped edges of the ceiling panels ensure easy, straightforward assembly. Combined with recessing into the suspension system, this provides a directionally stable ceiling. However, though, the T-grid is exposed, giving a distinct look to the surface, and thereby to the ambience when blended with intelligent lighting.

Perforation
Belgravia tiles come with four varieties of perforations providing quadruple options of design for treating the ceiling surfaces Belgravia Quadril - SoundSquare Belgravia Globe - SoundSircle Belgravia Micro - SoundPixel Belgravia Regula - SoundSlate
