Extending Organizational Strategies

The grid has historically proven to be particularly effective field operation, extending a framework accross a vast surface for flexible & changing development over time. This organisation lends legbility and order to the surface while allowing for the authonomy and individuality of each part, and remaining open to permutations over time. INSTANTS OF URBAN INTERIORITY

Transitional Perspectival Spaces - Capturing Light & Reflections

I am interested in depicting both urban & interior qualities at the same time within one single space/object/setting. A simple change of the focus creates this ambiguous transitional space between urban interior, public & private. The photograph represents both the urbanity with its vividness and lively atmosphere, and shows interior qualities, creating this intimate private setting within the same space. In a w this photo represents a dialogue between two identical forms, appearing at times monolithic and dynamically translucent, changing over the course of a day.
