In the Managerial Communication Workshop PGP-MC1-S-12, you will make an individual presentation. This note is a general brief for this graded presentation exercise. A specific brief indicating the topic and managerial context of your presentation will be provided to you separately.

The duration of your presentation is 4 (four) minutes, with a hard stop. Before the presentation you will be allowed set-up time of no more than 2 minutes. After your presentation you will respond to questions from the audience (fellow-student managers and evaluators). Q&A time will be over and above the 4 minutes allotted for your presentation (if the Q&A is taken after the presentation), and will be managed on a case-to-case basis by your Instructor.

You are required to use a computer-generated slide show for this presentation. In addition, you may also use handouts if you wish to. A black/white board will be available for possible impromptu writing during the presentation and/or the Q&A session.

Two persons will evaluate this presentation: Your Instructor, and a Guest Evaluator who will be invited for the occasion. Your presentation will be recorded and given to you as part of the feedback process.

The Dress Code for this presentation is Business Formal. Appearance will be one of the evaluated parameters!

Your presentations will be graded on the following factors: Content, Structure, Sequence, Tone Design & Use of Visual Aids Delivery (Appearance, Use of Voice & Body Language) Question Handling Time Management The feedback and evaluation sheet is in Page 2 of this document.

And as always, your evaluators will ask the question: If I were the specified target audience, how would I react to this presentation?
