This picture depicts Reza Shah in a very western military outfit, showing his links to the west and how he gained power through ties with the West. It also shows some inconsistencies between the 1906 constitutional revolution and the 1921 coup because a main reason for the constitutional revolution was to get rid of corruption due to western influences whereas here he is obviously supported by the west and yet the people still support him.
