This load is almost a perfect.45 Colt factory duplication load. The basic data is straignt from the Winchester manual. To man it will apear somewhat conservative, but in all the revolvers and leverguns Ive tried it in, it has matched the factory ballistics perfectly. Ive found this load to be very accurate and consistant when used with the Remington 250gr lead .45 Colt factory bullet, or the Lyman 454190 bullet cast from wheel wieghts. Redhawk that wears a 5 and 1/2 inch barrel and its been very picky in what it liked. I started at 16 gr. over a good bag rest , the six groups I did shoot , opened and closed like a bellows.The 18gr group at 25 yards and a rather heavy trigger prevented any group better than 2 inches.
