Conclusions
Security is seen as the most important initiative over the next 18 months, particularly at enterprise organizations. On average, more money is spent on security than any other technology. Looking to 2014, technology spending will either remain the same or increase slightly. IT management is most involved during the technology purchase process, especially while evaluating products/services. The ITworld audience looks to their peers when looking for technology information to aid in the decision making process. They also share technology-related information with their peers on a weekly basis.
