THE PROBLEM
DESIGN A PRODUCT THAT PHYSICALLY INTERACTS WITH AND ENHANCES A SMARTPHONE OR TABLET DEVICE.
MY STORY
Having recently crashed my bike and destroyed my relatively new iPhone, I sought to create a better solution for using an iPhone while cycling that would protect, display, and maximize its effectiveness as a riding aide.

PROTOTYPING
Volume up/down, home, and lock buttons provide all necessary functions.
FUNCTION
Sound hole provides passive speaker amplification to listen to music without the hazard of headphones.
Bottom half hinges to allow easy insertion/removal of iphone. Built-in battery backup utilizes lightning connector to provide a boost of power for cycling GPS apps and safety light.

FEATURES
Adjustable handlebar mount allows for optimal placement and an ideal viewing angle and visibility for ease of interaction while riding and interacting with device. Sophisticated design solution at home on a variety of bikes. Mounts securely to the handlebars providing safe iPhone storage with enhanced functionality.
Frosted corner lens illuminates with the iPhones LED to provide a flashing safety light when riding at night. With the built-in battery backup, the flash lasts many hours without draining the battery.

DESIGN A WIRELESS SPEAKER SYSTEM TO STREAM MUSIC WIRELESSLY FROM AN IPHONE/IPAD PRODUCE ROOM-FILLING HIGH QUALITY AUDIO FROM AN AESTHETICALLY-STUNNING DESIGN AT HOME IN A VARIETY OF HIGH-END DWELLINGS AND ROOMS. GOALS
Incoporate subwoofer and a full dynamic range of speakers into one single unit creating unrivaled sound and minimal aesthetic leading to versatility. Utilize high-end materials lending to a feel of exclusivity, perhaps even exotic woods where no two pieces are the same. Ultra sophisticated precision feel, i.e. from CNCd aluminum enclosures.
