Montage
Description: This is a project that I created for my Comm 130 in Photoshop. Process: I took two images, one of my friend who died in a crash and one that I took of a sunset in Nauvoo, IL. I thought it would be really nice to make this montage of him and maybe even give it to his mother. I blended them together and created a Montage of the images. I feel it turned out very well. Imaging
Description: This is an image that I took and used a filter to make it look more professional. Process: I went out and took this picture. I then cropped it, and resized it and then I edited it with a strong saturation filter and made the leaf more bright. Brochure
Description: This is a brochure that I created for a fake DJ named DJ Rambunctious X. It is all about advertising for this DJ. In this, I tell about his strengths, and all the reasons why people should hire him. Process: I found DJ images on the internet, and saved them. I created a logo to match the name. I then laid out the format for the Brochure. I began making things for the brochure. Programs used: Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign Date: 12/8/2013 Course: Comm 130 Instructor: Julie Peterson

Stationary
Description: These are two stationary projects that I did for my visual media class. This is a letterhead that I created for a made-up radio station. I wanted to made this as professional as possible. Process: I had to create and all new original logo and put it on a letterhead. I also had to give it some design and some organization. I decided that since it was for a radio station, it should have air waves, so I made that a huge part of my project. Business Card
Description: This is a business card that I did for my visual media class. This business card is advertising for a logo I created for a made-up radio station. I wanted to made this as professional as possible. Process: I had to create and all new original logo and put it on a Business Card layout. I also had to give it some design and some organization. Event Ad
Description: This is my event ad that I created using an image from a magazine and a scanned image from a magazine. This project was meant to advertise for a local dog walking charity in the town of Rexburg, ID. Process: The first thing that I did was scan an image from a magazine and I then took the image to word and made it have an appealing look to advertise for a dog walking charity event. Flier
Description: This is my first flier that I did for my Visual Media class. Our instructor gave us the images to use and the programs to use with them. Process: I had to go through and create a really fun and nice looking Flier. I had to apply the design principles. I also had to use InDesign. I also liked making it look professional. It couldnt look sloppy, so I did my best for it to look professional. Programs used: Adobe InDesign Date: 10/5/2013 Course: Comm 130 Instructor: Julie Peterson

Description: This is a webpage that I created for my Visual Media class. In this, I tried to show the different principles we have been learning this semester in the class. I tried to make it look like a friendly page (place) to visit. Process: I made my logo in Adobe Illustrator. I used the Textwrangler program to work with my HTML and CSS documents. I attempted to create a nice website. I had to basically create it from the sample I was given and used some of the coding skills I used to help create this. Logo
Description: This is a logo project that I did for my Visual Media class. We were given the task of creating 3 separate logos of a madeup company or a real company. I chose to use my last name and create a fake logo for it. Process: I had to come up with three different logos and basically brainstormed, created, and edited, using Adobe Illustrator.
