Material Master Field Selection Attribute

In a screen and I want to change the field status of a
particular field, how to do that?
For ex) I'm in MK01 (creating a vendor) and I want to make
the address mandatory, so where to go to make this mandatory?
Or if I want to suppress it, where to go.

There must be a screen to go to make each field Suppressed,
Mandatory, Optional or Hidden.
You can hide/display/mandatory/optional any field using this procedure.

You can also define your field groups and make those fields as mandatory fields, path for this
is:



You need to get the field name of the field you want to hide or display or . this you can get
by pressing F1 and the technical info and after that go to SPROLogistics
GeneralMaterial MasterField Selection and double click on Assign Fields to Field
Selection Group and there you click Position button and paste your field name there and
search and there you can see for which field selection group this field belongs too, now come
back to SPRO and there select the second one Maintain field selection for data screens and
then double click and give your field selection Group



and based on the type of the material i.e. type of material like FERT, ROH for which you
want to configure double click on that material type i.e under field reference, if you want that
whole fields to be hidden/optional/ select in this screen else double click on the material type
or Field selection and then it will take you to a screen which shows all the fields under that
group, then you can select what ever option you need.
