Welcome to the D23 Expo!

On behalf of everyone at The Walt Disney

Company, thank you for joining us
to celebrate the magic, wonder and
adventure of Disney through this new
and exciting four-day gathering that
was created especially for you, our
most devoted fans.

For the first time since the magic of Disney

began in 1923, we are pleased to share
with you the best and brightest of our
remarkable past, present and future — all
under one roof — in an event that is literally
86 years in the making! You’ll revel in the
nostalgia of your favorite Disney memories
at the Treasures of the Walt Disney
Archives exhibit, be the first to see Toy Story and Toy Story 2 in
3D during Sunday’s U.S. premiere event and go behind closed
doors at Walt Disney Imagineering to gain unprecedented access
to the secrets that will define the future of Disney theme park
entertainment and experiences. And that doesn’t even scratch
the surface!

Whether you’re a fan of Disney’s theme parks, animation,

television shows, movies, books or collectibles or just can’t
get enough of it all, you’ll discover that there is truly something
for everyone as you wander the pavilions, screening rooms,
exhibition halls, seminars and presentations that await you here
at the Anaheim Convention Center.

We hope you enjoy the D23 Expo — the ultimate Disney fan
experience!

Walt Disney Parks AND Resorts Pavilion
HALL B

HALL B
Location: Hall B

It’s hard to imagine that there ever was a time

when there was no Disneyland or Walt Disney
World. But there was. And at the amazing
Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Pavilion,
you can go back in time to 1954, when
Disney’s fabled Parks story began with
an ABC television series in which Walt
offered a preview of Disneyland nine
months before the park opened. Since
then, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts
has grown to include 11 parks and five
resorts around the world, as well as va-
cation experiences such as Disney Cruise
Line, Adventures by Disney and Disney Vaca-
tion Club. At our exciting and magical Pavilion, you can explore the rich legacy of Walt
Disney Parks and Resorts through a series of stunning displays and presentations, which
include never-before-seen models of classic Disney attractions and the chance to get
up close and personal with a couple incredibly real looking characters!

And that’s just the beginning!

Get a sneak preview of Cars Land — coming to

Disney’s California Adventure in 2012.

Walt Disney Parks and Resorts works tirelessly to create the action-packed adven-
tures of the future — and as an Expo attendee, you’re invited to take a peek at what’s
to come! Wait ‘til you see the truly awesome Cars Land rock-work model — a soaring
gorgeous feat of imagination that typifies the ambition and scope of Disney’s California
Adventure’s current expansion (Psst! It’s so big, it won’t fit inside the Blue Sky Cellar!).

You’ll also preview the most advanced Audio-Animatronics® figures ever created —
Lucky the Dinosaur and WALL·E — and see firsthand the cutting-edge effects tech-
nologies currently in development for Disney attractions, shows and venues.

If you’re planning your next great Disney vacation experience, you’ll want to check
out the just-announced 2011 itineraries for Disney Cruise Line and take an inside look
at the planned expansion of Hong Kong Disneyland, which features three vast new
lands. At the Disney Vacation Club booth, you won’t want to miss the latest updates at
the under-construction Ko Olina Resort in Hawaii.

And on Saturday, September 12 at 11 a.m. in the Anaheim Convention Center D23

Parks and Resorts Chairman Jay Rasulo. Jay will share behind-the-magic details and

The D23 Arena OVERVIEW

D23 ARENA OVERVIEW

QUEUE: HALL A

D23 Arena is the main stage for some of the most high-profile, not-to-be-missed events
taking place at the D23 Expo. In this 4,000-seat venue, you’ll see some of Disney’s most
important creative executives, starting on September 10 with the Expo’s opening
speaker Bob Iger, president and CEO of The Walt Disney Company. Bob’s
presentation kicks off an exciting schedule of events taking place in the Arena over the
four days of the D23 Expo.

Immediately following the opening event comes the 2009 Disney Legends Cer-
emony, hosted by Bob Iger and Tom Bergeron (Dancing with the Stars, America’s
Funniest Home Videos). This is the first time this historic event has taken place off Disney
property, and we are pleased to share with our fans, friends and Cast Members this
cherished Disney tradition. Among the latest inductees to this prestigious circle are Tony
Anselmo (the voice of Donald Duck), Bill Farmer (the voice of Goofy), comedian and
iconic actor Robin Williams and four women who are decidedly golden — The Golden
Girls — and more!

TV host par excellence Tom Bergeron also hosts The ABCs of Disney, which pro-
vides sneak peeks into the coming fall ABC schedule. He’ll have some glittering assis-
tance in the form of Kelsey Grammer, Patricia Heaton, Ed O’Neill and Joseph
Fiennes.

On Friday, September 11, Dick Cook, chairman, The Walt Disney Studios, will
present exclusive previews of such highly anticipated Disney features as Disney’s A
Christmas Carol, Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, Old Dogs, Jerry Bruckheimer’s Prince
of Persia: The Sands of Time and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Tron: Legacy, plus other
updates on many more exciting projects.

On Saturday, September 12, Jay Rasulo, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and
Resorts, will highlight how Walt Disney Parks and Resorts dreams up the magic that
our guests enjoy every day at our magical destinations around the world. Also on Satur-
day, you won’t want to miss D23 Expo Live Auction. Disney enthusiasts will have the
opportunity to bid on our unique Walt Disney Studio and Theme Park experiences, tours,
artwork, props and more.

On Sunday, September 12, Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios Chief
Creative Officer John Lasseter takes you behind the scenes of the upcoming
films The Princess and the Frog, Rapunzel, Toy Story 3 and more.

The D23 Arena’s exciting program of presentations will take you behind the magic and
into the imaginations of many of Disney’s most prestigious executives, musicians, artists,
entertainers and more.

Please note: To offer the best experience for all guests, presentation
rooms and theater areas will be cleared after each event. The ONLY
exceptions are between Thursday’s 10 a.m. opening event and 11 a.m. Disney Legends
Ceremony in the D23 Arena. We ask all D23 Expo guests to note that they will be asked
to exit the presentation rooms and theaters after each event.

Schedules and presenters are subject to change without notice. Seating is first come, first served.

WALT DISNEY StudioS Theater OVERVIEW

WALT DISNEY STUDIOS THEATER OVERVIEW

YELLOW
Location: THIRD Floor

The Walt Disney Studios Theater is a state-of-the-art movie showcase located on the
third floor of the Anaheim Convention Center. In this comfortable space, guests will enjoy
a spectacular lineup of marquee events, including special sneak previews and exclusive
presentations for eagerly anticipated upcoming live-action films!

Enjoy panel discussions with filmmakers, and screenings of classics such as Snow
White and the Seven Dwarfs and Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure, as well
as 3D screenings from Beauty and the Beast, Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before
Christmas and more! There’s also our “50 and Fabulous” screening series, which
celebrates the 50th anniversary of some of Disney’s most beloved films — Sleeping
Beauty, The Shaggy Dog and Darby O’Gill and the Little People.

You can feast your eyes on incredible documentaries

like the boys: the sherman brothers’ story
and meet the filmmakers behind Walt & El Grupo,
which chronicles the amazing 10-week trip that Walt
Disney and his hand-picked group of artists (later
known as “El Grupo”) took to South America in 1941
at the behest of the U.S. Government as part of the
“Good Neighbor Policy”. Following the presentation,
you can view the animated feature film Saludos
Amigos, one of the many creations inspired by the
historic trip.

Of course, Disney is synonymous with animation, and

the Walt Disney Studios Theater is the perfect venue
to catch up with what’s new and what’s next from
Walt Disney Animation and Pixar Animation
Studios. You won’t want to miss the U.S. premieres
of Toy Story and Toy Story 2 in Disney Digital 3D™
and extended previews from upcoming films The
Princess and the Frog and Toy Story 3 and an
early look at Disney’s 2010 animated fairy tale Rapunzel.

And believe it or not, there’s much, much more!

Please note: To offer the best experience for all guests, the Walt Disney
Studios Theater will be cleared after each event. The ONLY exception will be
during Sunday’s Toy Story presentations and U.S. premiere screenings.
