GENERAL INFORMATION
The D23 Expo unfolds on three floors of the Anaheim Convention Center — the show-
floor, the second floor and the third floor, where the 750-seat Walt Disney
Studios Theater will be home to the latest discussion panels and screenings from
The Walt Disney Studios. And in the 4,000-seat D23 Arena, you’ll find some of the D23
Expo’s most eagerly awaited presentations.
Exhibit Hall Hours of Operation
general showfloor hours: D23 Expo showfloor hours for Halls A, B and C are
Thursday, September 10 through Sunday, September 13 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Additional after-hours programming will take place on the second and third floors of
the Convention Center, where Stage 23, Storytellers Theater, the Walt Disney Studios
Theater and more are located. The D23 Expo Dream Store closes at 6 p.m., Thursday
through Saturday, and at 5 p.m. on Sunday. The Anaheim Convention Center will remain
open until midnight, although guests will not have access to the showfloor or D23 Expo
Dream Store during those hours.
D23 Member-Exclusive Hours: D23 Members may enter the exhibit halls at 8 a.m., a full
hour before the general public. The D23 Member wristband is required for admittance.

GENERAL INFORMATION
To join D23, please visit the Lobby Information Desk, the D23 Welcome Center, Trea-
sures of the Walt Disney Archives or the D23 Expo Dream Store, or you can join any time
at www.Disney.com/D23. For questions about an existing membership, please visit the
Lobby Information Desk.
General information
Automatic Tellers (ATMs): Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) are available in
locations throughout the Anaheim Convention Center.
Costume Information: All event attendees — including adults — may attend the
D23 Expo in costume. Please adhere to the following guidelines: (1) Costumes should
be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive or violent. (2) Guests may wear
masks; however they must not obstruct vision, and eyes must be visible at all times. (3)
Guests may not pretend they are an official Disney Character. Creating lines or collecting
money for pictures and/or signed autographs is not permitted. (4) Costumes should not
drag on the ground. (5) Costumes should not contain sharp objects, pointed objects or
materials that may accidentally strike another guest. (6) Costumes should not contain
any weapons that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon. Guests
who do not adhere to these guidelines may be refused entry into the event unless his
or her costume can be modified to meet the above standards. The appropriateness of
guest costumes will be determined by Disney in its sole discretion.
First Aid: First aid stations are located in the Main Lobby between Hall A and Hall B, the
Arena Lobby and on the third floor.
Lost and Found: Please find a D23 Expo or Anaheim Convention Center staff
member to direct you to the Lost and Found. You may also call the Lost and Found at
(714) 765-8950 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Lost Children: Please arrange in advance a meeting place and time in the event
those in your party become separated. We are unable to page for separated party
members. The Baby Care Center & Lost Children Center is located on the second floor
of the convention center in room 208A.
Photography: Where designated, the use of any of the following equipment of any
kind is strictly prohibited without the prior written consent of D23 Expo management:
camera equipment; camera flashes or strobes; video cameras, including cellphone
video technology; and audio recording equipment. Any person using or attempting
to use any such equipment may, at the sole discretion of D23 Expo management, be
subject to removal from the venue and may be refused entry to other events sponsored
by or affiliated with D23 Expo management or The Walt Disney Company. D23 Expo
management reserves the right to confiscate any photographs, audio recordings and/or
video taken in violation of this policy.
Smoking Policy: The Anaheim Convention Center is a non-smoking facility. Smoking
is only allowed on designated balconies, terraces and other exterior areas of the facility.
Strollers and Wheelchairs: ScooterBug is proud to provide strollers, wheelchairs
and electric scooters for guest rental at the D23 Expo. There will be designated areas for
parking strollers for presentations and seminars. Please do not leave any valuables with
your stroller; the D23 Expo is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.

Anaheim Resort Transit (ART) will provide transportation services to all event partici-
pants. ART will operate from the Anaheim Convention Center to all participating hotels,
including Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, Disneyland Hotel and Paradise Pier.

D23 ART Hours of Operation via Convention Center

ART service is available from 4:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m., Thursday, September 10 to Sunday,
September 13. Buses operate on 20-minute intervals.

ART is a fare-based system and offers several ways to

purchase passes:

• Front Desk of all participating ART properties in the greater
Anaheim Resort area.
• ART kiosks, located at 13 convenient locations, accept cash,
ATM and credit card transactions (see facing page).

D23 Arena is the main stage for some of the most high-profile, not-to-be-missed events
taking place at the D23 Expo. In this 4,000-seat venue, you’ll see some of Disney’s most
important creative executives, starting on September 10 with the Expo’s opening
speaker Bob Iger, president and CEO of The Walt Disney Company. Bob’s
presentation kicks off an exciting schedule of events taking place in the Arena over the
four days of the D23 Expo.

Immediately following the opening event comes the 2009 Disney Legends Cer-
emony, hosted by Bob Iger and Tom Bergeron (Dancing with the Stars, America’s
Funniest Home Videos). This is the first time this historic event has taken place off Disney
property, and we are pleased to share with our fans, friends and Cast Members this
cherished Disney tradition. Among the latest inductees to this prestigious circle are Tony
Anselmo (the voice of Donald Duck), Bill Farmer (the voice of Goofy), comedian and
iconic actor Robin Williams and four women who are decidedly golden — The Golden
Girls — and more!

TV host par excellence Tom Bergeron also hosts The ABCs of Disney, which pro-
vides sneak peeks into the coming fall ABC schedule. He’ll have some glittering assis-

costumes that have become intrinsic parts of American pop
culture: Herbie the Love Bug, Annette Funicello’s Mickey Mouse
Club sweater, Captain Nemo’s Nautilus and of course, Davy
Crockett’s coonskin cap. But have you seen them in person?
Well, here’s your chance. At the very special Trea-
sures of the Walt Disney Archives exhibit, you can
enjoy a very unique glimpse into the fantastic world
of the Walt Disney Archives as we throw open
the vaults and bring out the “crown jewels” of our
amazing collections in this exciting, never-before
seen showcase. Treasures from some of our classic
movies, including Pirates of the Caribbean, Mary Pop-
pins and Enchanted, are dazzling enough — but that’s just a start! We have an array
of items that Walt Disney owned, including his desk blotter, pen, eyeglasses and
nametag! There’s a collection of maquettes created for Pinocchio by Disney Legends
Bob Jones and Joe Grant (and another very special item from Pinocchio you’ll want

Dress Code
In keeping with our family-friendly atmosphere, and for health and safety reasons, the D23
Expo enforces a dress code. Proper attire must be worn at all times, including shirts and
appropriate footwear. Comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended. Clothing with
rude, vulgar or offensive language or graphics is not permitted at any time. Admission to the
D23 Expo may be denied if clothing is considered inappropriate by D23 Expo Management in
its sole discretion.
Permission to Film/Photograph/Record D23 Expo Guests
Filming/photographing/recording will take place at this location throughout the D23 Expo. By
attending the D23 Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center, you irrevocably consent to and
authorize D23 Worldwide, its parent, affiliated and subsidiary companies, and their respective
successors and assigns (collectively “Producer”) to photograph and make sound recordings of
you and any children accompanying you and to use such photographs and recordings
throughout the universe, in whole or in part, for any purpose whatsoever in all known and
hereafter existing media and in any language in perpetuity. All such photographs and sound
recordings will be the sole property of Producer.
Guest Photography/Filming/Recording Policy
No flash photography, and no filming or other recording of any kind is permitted in the “Trea-
sures of the Walt Disney Archives” exhibit No photography, filming or other recording is
permitted in the D23 Expo Studio Theater or Arena or in any other location where prohibited.
By attending the D23 Expo, you agree not to take pictures or video or make sound recordings
wherever posted or announced as prohibited.
Tickets
No cancellations or refunds are permitted for D23 Expo tickets. Tickets cannot be returned for any
merchandise credit and have no cash value. The D23 Expo is not responsible for lost, stolen or
forgotten tickets.
Assumption of Risk
By attending the D23 Expo, you assume, for yourself and any children accompanying you, all
risks and danger of: personal injury (including death); property loss or damage; and any other
