This ReadMe file contains information that may be of use before proceeding into battle. ===================================================================== System Requirements ===================================================================== MINIMUM REQUIRED SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS: OS: Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8 CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or better RAM: 2.0 Gb (3.0 Gb on Vista) Hard Drive: 15 Gb or more of free space Video: Directx 11 compatible video card, NVIDIA GTX 450 / AMD Radeon 5770 Sound: DirectX 11 compatible sound card Multiplayer: 2 to 16 players Internet connection required (256Kbps Cable, DSL, or faster connection) Notes: Crysis 3 requires a full installation of the above Operating Systems including all available Windows Updates to guarantee a successful launch. While you will be able to play Crysis 3 with the specifications above, play experience may improve if you have additional RAM, a faster CPU or a better graphic card. ===================================================================== Installation Instructions ===================================================================== IMPORTANT: Before running Crysis 3, please be sure you have the latest drivers for both your video card and your audio card installed. An outdated video or sound driver can lead to slow and choppy gameplay, or in some cases can prevent the game from running at all. You can download the appropriate drivers from your video and audio card manufacturer's Web site. Crysis 3 requires the 'Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package' installed on the target machine. This will be installed during the Crysis 3 installation process. DVD

Avoid running any other programs in the background, as this may conflict with the game. To install Crysis 3 in Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8: 1. Insert the Crysis 3 disc into your DVD-ROM drive. If the disc does not automatically launch when inserted in the drive, you may have the AutoPlay feature disabled. To enable AutoPlay, please consult your Windows user manual. If you are unable or do not wish to activate AutoPlay, please browse to the location of the Crysis 3 DVD-ROM using Windows Explorer, and double-click the "Setup" application in the root directory. 2. Follow the instructions that appear. Digital Retail Installation Please contact the digital retailer through whom you purchased this game for instructions on how to install the game or how to download and reinstall another copy of the game. Notes If you'd like additional information about your game as well as tips and patches please visit 'www.origin.com' or 'www.ea.com'. Origin will be installed as part of the installation process. You will be prompted to log in to Origin as part of the installation. You can create a new account, or log in with an existing account. Origin is also required to play the game after installation. ===================================================================== Uninstalling ===================================================================== To uninstall Crysis 3 if your operating system is Windows Vista or Windows 7 or Windows 8: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Click the "Start" button in the Windows taskbar. Click "Control Panel" in the Start menu. Click "Uninstall a program" under the "Programs" heading. Double-click "Crysis 3" in the program list. Follow the instructions that appear.

If you are not sure what type of video or sound card you have, or you need assistance with updating the drivers on your system, please refer to the documentation that came with your system or peripheral. ===================================================================== Saved Games ===================================================================== In Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8, saved game files are usually stored in the following location: C:\Users\<your login name>\Saved Games\Crysis3 To access this folder, click the "Start" button in the Windows Taskbar, then click "Computer" in the Start menu. Then navigate to the folder. ===================================================================== NAT/Firewall ===================================================================== If you are playing on PC, please enable the following online ports on your connection: TCP: 80, 443, 9988, 25650-25780, 17502, 42127, 64100-64110 UDP: 3659, 10000-10100, 25650-25780, 64100-64110 ===================================================================== *Administrator Privileges ===================================================================== Please note that you may not be able to add Crysis 3 to your software firewall's exceptions list if you are not logged in as an administrator in Windows. You will either need to do so from an account that has administrator rights, or add your existing account to the administrators list. To do so, do the following: In Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 1. Log out of Windows and log in with an Administrator account. 2. Click the "Start" button in the Windows taskbar. 3. Click "Control Panel". 4. Click "Change account type" under the "User Accounts" heading. 5. Under "Users for this computer:" click on your account name. 6. Click "Properties". 7. Select the "Other" radio button. 8. From the pulldown menu, select "Administrators". 9.
