Architect/Designer Consultant Urban Designer/Planner I am a highly skilled, multidisciplinary professional, having handled diverse projects, consultancy services and I have single-handedly made recommendations to the United Nations General Assembly on curriculum development in professional institutions. I have actively participated in professional associations in Africa and Europe. I am a strong team player and I can easily work to tight schedule on individual assignments. I started my professional career in Architecture as a Lecturer in December 1992. I have since enlisted in different professional associations where I have contributed through executive and membership roles over the years. My career is a mix of academic corporate and Consultancy Services. I have developed key leadership skills over the years. At present, I am looking to impart my experience in any professional organisation where my years of study and corporate experience could be used to encourage and build upcoming professionals through training, branding and capacity building programmes. This was in recognition of my role as a scholar of note. Royal Institute of British Architects During my Postgraduate studentship at the University College London, I became involved with and registered with the Royal Institute of British Architects United Nations Centre For Human Settlements (UNHabitat) In recognition of my role in the professions, I was assigned by the UNHabitat to evaluate the Curriculum of Schools of Architecture, Planning and Design Professions in Anglo-phone West African countries in 2001 Strong passion for Learning-by-Doing & Continuing Professional Development.

2010Date: Consultancy Services This involved training & skills development in the private sector 2004 2010 Railway Infrastructure, Retail and Operations Experience. This was an eyeopening experience on the institutional constraints facing heavy infrastructure delivery service agencies in the urban societies. Project decisions were made where in some situations I was the key decision-maker. This provided me the opportunity to experience leadership challenges In 2004, I was appointed an External Examiner at the University of The Free State, South Africa 2002 2003 Full Time Studentship at The University College London (UCL) In the course of my studies, I was an Adjunct Staff at The Bartlett, UCL. I was also involved in the UCL Graduate programs of activities for the PhD students 1992 2002 Teaching, Research & Consultancy Services at the tertiary level of education. During this period, I lectured at ABU Zaria, was an External Examiner at EAMAU, Lome, Togo, and I was appointed a Consultant and Lead Researcher on Housing by the United Nations (UN-Habitat) 2001 2002 Curriculum Review in Anglo-phone West Africa I was assigned the role to review the curriculum of professional training Institutions training professionals in Architecture and Design 1990 1992 Full-Time Graduate Education for the award of MSc Degree in Architecture 1986 1990 Full Time Education leading to the award of BSc Honours Degree

1980 1985 Full Time Education at The Ogun State Polytechnic Nigeria It is important to state that I have been involved in training at the tertiary levels of education since the early stages of my professional education. In 1982, after completing my Ordinary National Diploma in Architecture, I started teaching at the Government Technical College. That teaching experience provided me the opportunity to developing a flair for teaching and research in the pursuit of my career in architecture 1998 - Convened Habitat-Afrique 2000International Conference & Exposition on Housing, Shelter and Human Settlement Issues In collaboration with the UN-Habitat, The Nigerian Institute of Architects, and Nigerian National Commission For UNESCO. The Conference held in August 1998 2001 Convened a Conference on Industrialization In Nigeria. The Conference was supported by the Embassy of the United States of America, the United Nations (UNDP), and other key stakeholders on the environment. Corporate Professional Experience: Member, NIA Student Affairs Committee 2001/2002 University College London (UCL) - Adjunct Staff, Facilitator at Post-Grad Events 2002 - 2004
As soon as my talents were discovered at the University College London, I was invited to the Postgraduate events where we organised small group teaching and shared experiences with those relatively new to the teaching and the professions. I soon became a lead facilitator and was very involved in developing the curriculum for the PPMS Training Program I was also offered a Teaching Assistantship at the Development Planning Unit, The Bartlett, UCL.

Having become a qualified Architect with a Masters Degree, I opted to teach at the University level. This was based on my conviction and passion for training and professionalism. During the period, I conducted excursions to West African countries and to the Republic of South Africa (April 1995). The program was titled Africa 2000 and took place at the University of Cape Town, Cape Town, South Africa. Scholars, researchers and design professionals attended the week-long event. I was inspired and this led to planning Habitat-Afrique 2000 Conference in 1998. Between 1998 and 2002, I was privileged to be assigned the research consultancy studies of Human Settlements in Anglo-Phone West Africa towards the UN General Assembly Istanbul + 5 The cities were Ibadan and Lagos (Nigeria), Accra and Kumasi (Ghana), and Banjul (The Gambia). I was also contracted the review of the activities of institutions conducting training programmes in the fields of Environmental Design in the Anglophone West African countries There were no restrictions as to the cities, but key institutions across the countries were documented.
