Breathing Meditation
This is very simple technique but it greatly awakens and refines our consciousness. Watch carefully your breathing. Stop everything that you do at any point of your day or night, stop anything at any place and any condition and just observe your breath. Observe for 1-10 minutes and be totally aware. Say, What is the breath?... Who is breathing?.... I thank the Buddha and Infinity for this Great Gift, I am forever Grateful. Next continue whatever you were doing before. It is truly an enlightening experience! Try to do this whenever it comes to your mind, 2-3 times per day for seven days or more. The secret is to practice it unexpectedly, without a specific program, in the midst of everyday life.

Tanden Meditation
Place your right palm on your tanden and your left palm on top of the right. The tanden is your energy center, the healing center of the body, your centering point, a star of power within. It is found approximately one and a half inches below the navel and one and a half inches inside. Relax and center there. Bring your attention to this inner point of energy and power. Mentally ask from this center to be fully awakened. See it, feel it becoming awakened, alive, radiant, conscious, full of light, energetically brilliant and powerful. See and feel as this is happening, Breathe into it. Breathe deeper, more consciously, awaken it. Bring the inbreath into this brilliant point of power. Do a total of 20 breaths. Meditate on the energy of this center. Feel the energy, see it, experience it. Mentally say: The Great Healing Buddha of Brilliant Light is now bringing forth the Ultimate Tanden Empowerment three times. Feel and see the energies. Relax. Repeat for seven days this sacred healing empowerment given in great compassion by the Buddha.

Shikantaza 2: Imagine that there is not even one meditation technique in the world! There is nothing! You have to create your own spirituality and techniques and your own method to contact your self, the All, the void and the divine. What would you do? What would you think? What processes, techniques, methods and meditations would you create and follow? What would you say? Sing and chant? Visualise and affirm, pray and wish? Start by sitting in meditation posture and do or think nothing at all. Stay for 20-30 minutes. Repeat the next days. The rest will follow.

Sand Meditation
Play with the sand! Create a pattern on the sand. Use a stick or your palm. Use your fingers. Relax and focus on the pattern, figure, picture on the sand. It can be anything simple like a circle, a geometric pattern, a number, a line, a drawing or anything. Meditate on this. Breathe into it. Think about its meaning. Watch any details. Watch any thoughts and feelings, any mental pictures. Close your eyes and visualise it. Then erase it. Meditate and think about the meaning of the sand and its relationship to Reality. What is the relationship between the sand and Zen?...

Osesshin
This is truly powerful and soul awakening zen practice! This is a full week of continuous meditation. For seven days you sit in zazen and you only stop meditation to sleep, eat, read, etc. You can just breathe, empty yourself of all garbage and just be. Be aware, be conscious, be here. Continuously ask to find out who you are. Continuously search and inquire for the True Buddha Nature and for the Nature of Reality. You can also be meditating on symbols, colours, sounds and mantras and on the Zen quotes, sayings, verses and philosophy. It is best if it is done in natural setting, on the mountains or near the sea, etc.
