1. MotionX-ID
MotionX-GPS Drive users may optionally create a MotionX-ID, including a username and password, to protect your Live Voice Guidance purchases and to access your purchases on multiple devices such as an iPhone and an iPad.

Benefits of the MotionX-ID:

Creating a MotionX-ID protects your guidance package purchases in case you lose your device or purchase a new iPhone. If you have multiple devices such as an iPhone and an iPad, or more than one iPhone in your household, use your MotionX-ID to access Live Voice Guidance purchases on multiple devices. Your username and password will remain completely confidential and will not be used for any other purpose. After an initial confirmation email, you will not receive any unsolicited communications from MotionX. For additional information, please visit the MotionX-ID FAQ page on the MotionX-GPS Drive website.

Your MotionX-ID username is your email address. Create and confirm a password. You will not be required to log in again unless you manually log out, or if you are using a different device.

You must agree to Fullpowers privacy policy and EULA to continue. Opt-in to MotionX news via email, only if you choose.

2. Overview
MotionX-GPS Drive is a complete GPS navigation solution designed and optimized exclusively for the iPhone. MotionX helps you find what youre looking for and provides turn-by-turn directions with optional Live Voice Navigation using industry-leading maps. All the functionality of an advanced dedicated turn-by-turn GPS unit is presented in this intuitive iPhone application. With full support for multitasking, routing and live voice guidance instructions continue in the background while listening to streaming music or while using other applications. The buttons highlighted below are accessible throughout the entire user interface.

Voice Balloon: Touch to hear your voice guidance repeated.

GPS signal indicator Touch to toggle between outdoor online and indoor offline. Blue: Outdoor GPS mode; good signal. Red: Unreliable signal, trying to acquire satellites. Red Flashing: Indoor Offline Mode; not searching for satellites (GPS chipset off).

GPS requires a direct line-of-sight to communicate with satellites. Your iPhone must have a clear view of the sky to locate at least three satellites in order to give accurate position information. If you are indoors, in a wooded area or surrounded by buildings, you may be unable to acquire an accurate signal. The GPS signal strength will be enhanced when your iPhone is connected to a power source.

The MotionX Compass shows such information as heading, current speed, current location, and the next maneuver information during active navigation. The iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 leverage the built-in magnetometer (digital compass). The compass page is useful for pedestrian navigation, for example.

Navigation bar (visible only during active navigation). Upcoming street name Turn direction Distance remaining until the next turn

Current altitude (feet or meters).

Current speed (mph or km/h). Blue arrow: Indicates the bearing to your destination.

Current latitude (decimal degrees).

Current longitude (decimal degrees).

The magnetometer in the iPhone is susceptible to magnetic interference from electronics and ferrous metals. If an accurate direction cannot be achieved due to interference, you will be instructed to move away from the interference and re-calibrate the magnetometer by moving your iPhone in a figure 8 pattern. Disable these warnings from Settings > Map Settings.
