[DUBAI] Architecture School Tower ///

INTRODUCTION ///
Dubai is a city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), located within the emirate of the same name. The emirate of Dubai is located on the southeast coast of the Persian Gulf and is one of the seven emirates that make up the country. It has the largest population in the UAE and the second-largest land territory (4,114 km2) after Abu Dhabi. Dubai has emerged as a cosmopolitan metropolis that has grown steadily to become a global city standing tall as a business and cultural hub of the Middle East and the Persian Gulf region as a whole. It is also a major transport hub for passengers and cargo. Although Dubais economy was historically built on the oil industry, the emirates Western-style model of business drives its economy with the main revenues now coming from tourism, aviation, real estate, and financial services. Dubai has recently attracted world attention through many innovative large construction projects and sports events. The city has become symbolic for its skyscrapers and high-rise buildings, such as the worlds tallest Burj Khalifa, in addition to ambitious development projects including man-made islands, hotels, and some of the largest shopping malls in the region and the world. An Architect is a person trained and licensed to plan, design, and oversee the construction of buildings. The educational requirements generally consist of a degree in architecture from a university where both the process and product of planning, designing and construction will be teach. An Architect must undergo specialised training consisting of advanced education and a practicum (or internship) for practical experience to earn a license to practice architecture. In the architectural profession, technical knowledge, management and an understanding of business are as important as design. The formal study of architecture in academic institutions played a pivotal role in the development of the profession as a whole, serving as a focal point for advances in architectural technology and theory.
