September 2013 December 2013 I was able to continue the work I did as a software engineering intern at Thomson Reuters remotely while going to school in Madison March 2012 May 2013 Worked with a testing team at Thomson Reuters to test ProView, a professional-grade eReader for legal professionals that is used around the world Researched an image-based testing tool called Sikuli, and in doing so created proof of concept tests to evaluate whether or Sikuli was a good fit for ProView Assisted in transitioning testing tools from a combination of Selenium/Sikuli to a purely Sikuli approach. Used Java, Eclipse, and Selenium WebDriver to write test suites to test the functionality of ProView Analyzed ProViews HTML and CSS code using Firebug to determine which elements were included in testing Submitted bug reports, verified bug fixes, and ran regression and exploratory tests Developed a thorough understanding of the software development process in a corporate environment.
