Abraham Eleazar the e!, a Prince, Priest, and Le#ite, Astrologer and Philosopher, sprung from the root of Abraham, Asaac and 'acob, wish my brethren, who through the anger of the Great God, lie scatted her and there throughout the world and are caught in ser#itude, much success and happiness in the %ame of the soon coming Messiah and of the great Prophet )lias, who has already prepared all his brethren$ 8eni, Adonai, (ocitto, "chysche E5 , therefore wait in patience until the &ero comes$ Marantha howe#er, o#er all and sundry, not of the tribe of 'udah, who recei#e this boo* into their hands, that such must be destroyed and perish, as the company of @orah, 8athan, Abiram and perish or #anish in the ire$ (oo* AA, )sdras, Chapter +-, !erses D2H-, And A opened my mouth and saw there was reached to me a full basin, this was full as it were of water, its color howe#er li*e unto fire, and too* and dran*, and as A had dran* out of it, then was my heart troubled in the understanding and in my breast grew Wisdom, then my spirit was got with good remembrance, and my mouth was opened, and was henceforth not shut$ The &ighest ga#e also to the 6 men understanding and they wrote that which was said in the night, and what otherwise was abo#e their comprehension, and they did not *now$ 8uring the night they ate bread, A howe#er spo*e o#er the day and did not *eep silence also during the night$ There were howe#er during the -5 days written 45- boo*s, and it happened as the -5days were o#er, the Lord spa*e and said, the first boo*s which you ha#e written place openly that they be read by worthy and unworthy$ The last ,5 howe#er *eep, which thou for the wise of the people are entrusted with, for in these is the Wellspring of ;nderstanding and a Well of Wisdom and a /i#er of @nowledge and A did so$ 8ear (rethren: The %eed and anFiety has mounted high, and the burden to great, that they nearly almost all crushed us into the dar* gra#e, where all consolation ends, because we must complain day and night, that the Lord forsa*es us, and in his righteous anger banishes us from his Sanctuary, which waste, and the heathen were called in for abuse, and we be destroyed here and there with moc*ery and scorn, under pure pressure lie under ser#ants of the heathen and unbelie#ers, and must endure from such all troubles, so contri#ed$ As there is nobody, who would be >ealous for the law and the Sanctuary$ Therefore, dear brethren, ha#e A thought on you a little again to raise, and to gi#e again a consolation in your oppressionJ e#en to gi#e a pattern, and as yet again help you, and raise up, and when the &ero comes set at defiance your enemies, and the soon coming Messiah with Koy

Number 1
Thou lettest the &eathen say, where is your God, who will help theeM 8ear brethren, therefore are we troubled to say, for we ha#e become for a scorn among the &eathen, but the Lord hears us not, but he has bloody !engeance on our enemies, who ma*e a Murderhole out of the SanctuaryJ that we also must be eFpelled from our inheritance$ (ut the great 'eho#ah will not eternally retain anger, but will gather us shortly to recei#e our inheritance again$ An order that you *now when the time comes to be informed where our Priests and the principal secrets of the time ha#e concealed away, as Titus !espasianus the Tyrant, who de#astated and burned the &oly City and the Sanctuary, so mar*$ There will such be found at the entrance into the &oly of &olies towards the )ast, there is a #ault 655 spans deep through a narrow entrance, and is co#ered with broad hewn thin leaf li*e stone, two *nee Koints deep )arth thereon, then again leaf li*e stone$ This is yet till this notice concealed, and will at the time when )lias with the Messiah comes, be found$ Therefore dear brethren sign and groan with desire after suchJ for at that time your enemies e#erywhere will be eFtirpated$ There ha#e been some brethren who recei#ed news of this secret from their fathers$ These ha#e #entured, and ha#e there gone in order to help their brethren$ This was a good intention onlyJ because such were not from the race of 'udah and also the mar*s they did not understand, for they began without instruction of the same to wor*, they found it not, &ad they understood the mar*s, so would they ha#e found the concealed, if the God of Abraham and Asaac had not held his hand o#er it$ An order that you *now of the igure and eFact direction learn that which you in the see*ing would find, certainly, so ha#e A, as A recei#ed them, drawn and would disco#er from my fathers: Lo when you come to the Place and find the entrance into the same towards the )ast on the right side, so clear a way, there you will find a stone, which two *nee Koints deep lies mar*ed also J lift this up, it lies 455 spans deep, should the entrance ha#e collapsed you must search further again, till you come to that place, there you will find all secrets, which our fathers possessed and from us you shall reGuire$ Then at this time will your enemies begin to badly plague youJ but be comforted, you will then get the sword in your hands, that you may fight your enemies$ An order that you also ha#e a consolation, till the time comes, that you can come and help to loosen the poor imprisoned (rethren out of their bondage, so mar*, what these before written figures show to you$ Lou should *now, that God the All &ighest has promised a blessing, and will gi#e it to you, that you should enKoy the marrow of the land and drin* the dew of &ea#en$

Figure 6 And gi#e it a soft ire Algir, which should be a ($M$, #apouring heat for -5 days and nights, till all has gone to Putrefaction, and become blac*, which the ancients ha#e called the Crows headJ then place it into the Ashes and gi#e strong Algir, so that the ire is so strong as the Sun, when it is at its highestJ so will appear the wonder of %ature, wit all its colours, li*e to a peacoc*s tail, then strengthen the Algir, yet that it does not *indle, and appears after -5 days to the white, the Moon light, and enters 8iana in her snow white glittering smoc*$ Gi#e it yet -5 days and nights in the -th grade of ire$ &ere must your #essel be concealed in the ashes, when it has stood in this Grade for -5 or 65 days, so will the red Lion appear and come to pass, li*e a carbuncle, yet li*e a yol* of an egg will again separate itself$ This is now the right Puintessence of which a little piece thrown on Saturn, pierces it through, and ma*es it Sol, for it is pure Tincture$ 8ear brethren you shall also *now, that when you dissol#e Sol with this hea#enly liGuor, it is a strong medicine for all infirmities of the body, and as your needs reGuire, you ma*e man*ind wise, because the strength of the body, it strengthens, and remo#es man*ind from all need$ Lou shall, howe#er, dear brethren, *now of all things, that this ;ni#ersal LiGuor, before you alloy with Asophel, must be made metallic and effecti#e, so to say, as the first effect to the metallic Tincture is in two waysJ first with Mercury !i#e purified, which through the liGuor, also becomes a Water, for

it has been in the beginning nothing other than a Salt Water, and this is the right *ey when eFplained, and so place the faeces themsel#es, for as we proceed, as the Author teaches$ The other manipulation howe#er proceeds thus far$ Ta*e the Mineram 'at$rni, which is nothing other, than a clear #olatile seed of the Sol and LunaJ beat it small, when the same is separated from all roc*, pour the liGuor therein so will this blessed Minera dissol#e in it$ The clear solution pour off, and pour more liGuor on, when all is dissol#ed, pour the clear solutions together in an Acures, place it in a cool place and so will wonderful crystals shoot forthJ so can this wonderful salt in a different manner be brought to a Tincture$ There is yet a way to obtain this secret, namely thus: Ta*e the purified Salt before the Spiritus is dri#en off, and ma*e it right dry, and put it in such a #essel, whereof one distills, place the same with the Salt in a ($M$ or in &orseHdung, the ($M$ howe#er must be constant, and for so long till only the Salt itself changes into an "ily, unctuous LiGuor and separates from all uncleanness$ Pour the clear from all aecibus, into a clean glass, and place it in ($M$, and distill all phlegma carefully o#er$ There will howe#er be #ery little, and *eep in such heat till it again coagulates, then place the glass again in fresh horseHdung to putrefy, and to dissol#e, so will it again dissol#e, and then again coagulate it again, and this repeat, till that only the Salt is fiFed and in the ire, flows li*e WaF without diminuation$ When you now ha#e it so far, *eep it well preser#ed$ Ta*e "phiris Sol and dissol#e it in a Water Ga>a, and when it is all dissol#ed, then distill all of it o#er in a glass #essel, and pour Water thereon, and dissol#e it anew, and distill the Water again therefrom, repeat this oftimes, gi#e at the last a strong ire, so the Water Ga>a goes mostly o#er, dissol#e it yet again, and put in the solution of the /hystone, so will the Sol draw it to itself$ 8istill the Water again therefrom till it turns to a powderJ place this in a closed glass in the ire, and so the Phyton will fly and lea#e the Sol, as a not solid )arth, Guite open and porous$ This )arth sweeten se#eral times with clean water, and dry it, of such a powder ta*e +Q4 she*el hea#y, and from the abo#e liGuor or Lapide Al*ahest - she*els hea#y, rub it in a glass of Acures together, and put it in an Alingel, seal it up, that nothing can come inJ place the #essel in the furnace, and gi#e it Algir ire, till it flows together to a red stone or powder$ 8ear brethren with this can you also do wonders, for it transmutes all *nown metals into Sol$ When you also ha#e the abo#e ;ni#ersal Mercury, which you ha#e prepared out of the !olatile sna*e and the fiFed, poured on the Albaon, so in the end such is green$ or there lies in such the life of all metals and minerals as the right *ey, and this concentrated Spiritus Mundi, can in all things be used in eFaltations virt$tia Eli-iris de prolongand$m vitam$ or &ea#en and )arth are preser#ed through this$ This is the right green Ala>agi, with which one can do wonders, as A already before taught, and will show afterwards in the proper place$ 8ear brethren, in order that before you accomplish this secret wor* and also ha#e food and nourishmentJ so will A teach you some small primiti#e wor* which in all places you can do$ Ta*e melted Almusater Alatren, ha#e it and Celu#ialatel, rub it amongst each other, put it in a strong stone #essel, and sublimate up again, and repeat for the third time, and so you get a Gold Sublimate, which you shall also reGuire, let D4 she*els hea#y of the pure Copper Metal, in a strong )arthen !essel prepare, let this flow in a strong ire, when flowing thin, add the fat sublimate - she*els hea#y to it, let it flow one hour, then pour it out, so ha#e you the great Secret thereby to accomplish a li#ing$ Let must you remember this necessary manipulation, when you ha#e a right fat Marc>, and with dew or Water Grandi eFtrahiret so now you boil such down, so eFpert that in it a Salt can crystalli>e, and on account of the great fatness and fat #iscosity of this Salt$ When you see this, so let it safely e#aporate to a thic* liGuor$ This liGuor is far better than the crystals$ With such you can go to wor*, that you miF therewith so much of its own thoroughly heated and liFi#iated )arth, and then distill o#er, as has been taught, and so you get at once so much of this !olatile Spirit$

The fiFed salt remains behind, which can be liFi#iated and goes in the wor* as said before$ Guard yourself howe#er that these Secrets come not into your enemies hands$ Conceal it from them as you only can, till the time of deli#erance comes$ Then reKoice the forsa*en daughters, that the Lord and &oly Adonai has made an end to your ignominy$

A, Abraham )lea>ar continue to teach you 8ear (rethren, as our athers in the Wilderness sinned against the Lord through Adolatry, Moses made for them a bra>en Serpent and stuc* it to a Cross, that such would be seen by all the people, and they again from their merited plaGue might reco#er$ Therefore *now, when you can fasten with a Golden %ail, the Serpent Python on his Cross, so will you want nothing in Wisdom$ Therefore is %ature most hidden and this is the whole secret in the Art, that we draw out from this secret Materia the Spirit Phytonis and Pirthre Sol, as the Sulphureous Water, as the strength from ire and Air of imperceptible form, separate with small troubleJ therefore is it full of Spirit, and holds in itself a fat fruitfulness$ This will now be dri#en out and separated, that as a clear Water and appears to the eye as a tear, i$e$, Spiritus Mercurii$ This loosens the common Phyton and ma*es it also a Water, yes to an Aldibid$ That howe#er you *now and become acGuainted with the materiamJ so is such our old Albaon

Abacscho>dii, is a Minera, so there in the mountains is found, and such is of three different sorts$ The first is in all its parts, is used by surgeons, it is right to say a #olatile ore while it stands as pure Tincture or Seed, so howe#er #olatile, while all of the ire is ta*en away, till #ery little$ When such is melted it gi#es a little spar*s$ This is best$ The other appears yellow and also with little blac* spar*s, is often found in yellow gra#el or sand, and has much auriferous #olatile seed$ The third is grey and white and a #ery poisonous *ind, a right Saturn, which has the power, with its poisonous breath to *ill$ Therefore one must be #ery careful when wor*ing with this, when in a dry form, to get its sweat$ An the wet way it is more sure, for when this old one is put into a bath, it beta*es itself into it$ Thou shalt also *now that this old one is of a saline property, therefore such is dissol#ed only into a bad liGuor, so from @ay and Salt is the sapient crude amalgam prepared, this is through a penetrating poisonous Salt, which is a pure Python, heightens the bath, that this old one himself should dissol#e in such, till to a little, which the era of the heat of the (ody is, the clear solution is poured off, such is put in a cold place, and so is produced the "ld "ne in Guite another figure, in beautiful crystals, and also it is with the other two preceeding particularly, but the first is not so poisonous$ When howe#er this "ld "ne is placed in his bath, so will his body be di#ided and then appears its inward Salt (alsam, which, is pure Tincture, and this material by many, will be thrown away on the hills, and also such a material is found in the pits, because they often throw such away, because it gi#es from itself a strong smell, and also often *ills the men, for the D sorts, is already of the Spiritus Mundi ;ni#ersi made #olatile, therefore such blows without intermission$ The first and other Materia is not so #olatile, yet has in itself the Spiritus Mundi buried, in this mineral essence, and has a right to say, is made a Magnet, and is inspissirt in full and free operation and in full course to become a Metal, but not yet to a Metal or Mineral, ne#ertheless form a Minerali inbutus$ This now is the Materia, which the wise choose: Materia non p$tative& sed vera e E-perimentis comprebata& material 'altem$nica& et res& e- )$a& hic alp$s +nice et sol$s abs)$e pregrino additamento "raeparari neces$m habet% 8ear brethren, ta*e the same, this massa which women color the hair, so can you in eligenda massa not miss, for without the 8ragon Phyton can nothing be done in this Art$ Therefore direct all your thoughts to the Phyton$ %am est un Phytone GuicGuid Gueerunt, Sapientes$ or nothing in the world has such a power to destroy Metals$ As the Phyton alone, but, dear brethren it is not the common Phyton, but our Spirit Phytonis, although with the common Phyton, our Spirit Phytonis is infinitum multuplicirrt, for out Spirit Phytonis transmutes the common into its nature, as it also changes the nature of Sol and all Metals, for it is the Primum )ns Metallorum, that is, the Spring of the Ancients, the flower with golden lea#es and so from pulling and tearing the poisonous dragon is co#ered and preser#ed$ Ma*e our "ld "ne a &ea#enly Green Salt$ And from such a Phytonis, a li#ing water which burns notJ place "phiris Sol in the sol#ent and putrefy in order that it becomes blac*, white and red$ With this you can #anGuish the World$ Therefore dear brethren ta*e heed to my teaching, for A will re#eal here a greater secret to you, and with two ways show you how to obtain the great Puintessence$ Ta*e our Materium Magnesiam, Plumbum %igrum, also called (ismuth or Puch, such as comes from the &illsJ +5 or +4 titJ ma*e such an "ld "ne into a fine powder, after you ha#e cleansed all roc* from it, and put this powder into se#eral broad Ala>abus, place these so that the Luna can shine thereon, and the dew may fall therein, but no sun dare shine thereon, and no rain come thereto, and

let it stand thus - wee*s, you must howe#er mo#e the powder round e#ery day$ When the time is past, ta*e this powder, as our "ld "ne, and put it in a croo*ed nec*ed Acures 0 igure ,1$

Figure 7 Lay such in an Ala>abus filled with sand, and that the sand co#ers the Acures and place it in the "#en and gi#e it Algir ire, herno& termon h$mor& algir& l$tirt, and from this great ball of Acures, that you can see how it goes, and distill a sweet, yet penetrating Spirit o#er, which is white, which is the do#es of &ermetis$ Continue heating till no more comes o#er, then let it cool$ Ta*e the recei#er off, in which "ur "ld has concealed his )#a, ta*e the distilled Spirit and miF with the residue or Caput Mortuum, and place into such a !essel 0 igure 31$

Figure 8 Place this #essel in the sand, up to the le#el of the liGuid and distill and cohobate se#eral times, distill this gently o#er in order that the Spirit Phytonis comes o#er clear li*e a tear, and is cleansed from all impurities$ /eser#e this Spirit and ta*e the remainder or Caput Mortuum out of the croo*ed nec*ed #essel, and put it in a #essel of burnt earth, put it into the ire and calcine it strongly, then eFtract the Salt out of it with distilled water, and purify itJ so ha#e you the Adam, made out of the earth and prepared$ %ow you must ma*e this li#ing, and gi#e him his )#a$ /ub this Salt small, and put it in an Alingel, and pour the Spirit on the dead body and firmly stop the glass and close A well, place in a gentle heat, so will Adam ta*e )#a to himself, and become one, and so you ha#e here in short a LiGuorem ;ni#ersalem and with this you can rightly dissol#e the "phiris Salt, and then coagulatione et fiFatione in #erum semen suri lapidem philosophorum redigirre$ 8rear (rethren A will not withhold from you through the help of the All &ighest how to prepare this secret Phytonis LiGuoremJ so ta*e such a LiGuorem and pour it on fresh Albaon made into a fine powder in a great #essel of Acures, shut it well, and place it in a gentle heat, and you will see a Smaragdine colour$ Pour the )Ftraction together in a clean #essel$ "n the remaining Corpus pour a distilled Water, and eFtract the remaining tincture$ Pour this off into another clean #essel, and distill off the water and add this liGuor to the other eFtractions, and place this in a cool place, so will a Smaragdine Salt crystalli>e, of great strength$ Ta*e out this Salt remainder, lea#e in a mild heat, to e#aporate a little, and again let it Crystalli>e, and you will get ore Salt, and you will ha#e the real Green Lion of the Ancients$ This is a li#ing Salt$ Ta*e this Salt that you ha#e eFtracted from this )arth, miF this Salt with the )arth or caput mortuum, rub the small, and ma*e little balls thereof, moisten these balls with the liGuor, so that nothing foreign is added, put such in a croo*ed nec*ed Acures 0 igure 21J lay this in an "#en in Sand, and your #essel should be co#ered with sand, lay also a large ball thereon and well closed, that the Arc*i does not go through and distill o#erJ by Algir a flowing Spirit comes o#er, pour this bac* into the #essel, cohobate and distill o#er again with strong Algir, then ta*e the /ecei#er off, and preser#e this well$

Figure 9 The remaining Corpus bruise, and rub it small, and eFtract the Salt thereof, and purify it, and pour your LiGuor upon it, place this liGuor so often, till all the Salt comes o#er with the LiGuor, and put this LiGuor into a high !essel 0 igure +51$

Figure 10 8istill all moisture therefrom, so you will find in undo a beautiful pure "il as hea#y as Plumbum, also pour this Spirit, which from its moisture you must ha#e pre#iously separated, upon your "il, and draw off se#eral times mildly, till your "il is as thic* as a flowing broo*, remains behindJ thus you get the Gum of your sister Maria, and the true Chaos of our athers$ Then put it into a long nec*ed Acures, and carefully melt the nec* closed, put it in a mild heat, so will the Materia resol#e into a crystalline Spirit and settles as a brown red earth$ This clear water is the Columba 8iana$ Such pour carefully from the )arth and rectify, and well preser#e it, i$e$, lutirt that you clean it from all impurities, and free it from all Phlegmata$ Let this flow o#er , times, so ha#e you the prepared Phelgmata$ Let this flow o#er , times, so ha#e you the prepared Phytonis$ This now is the life of all things$ Preser#e it as a great treasure, for this (ird does not willingly let itself be seen by the Godless of the World$ Ta*e the humidity or Phlegma, and eFtract out of our )arth the red Pirtre or fiery red Lion$ This solution pour all together, till nothing more is eFtracted, and distill the Phlegma therefrom, so remains in the #essel a red glancing Materia, as a (lood and the right flowing "phiris: Sol of the Ancients, the (lood of the 8ragon, ta*e this and preser#e it well$ The remaining aeces ta*e all together and calcine and eFtract the Salt of splendour$ Clarify it that it becomes li*e a diamond$ This salt rub in a clean #essel of Acures among the (lood of the 8ragon, and pour the Columbian 8ianae thereon, close them together and put it in a mild heat, let it stand, till they are all united, so you get the right lac #irginis of the Ancients, with which one can do wonders$ When now all is again a LiGuorem, mediante circulatione redigirt, and ta*e of this LiGuor +5she*els hea#y and of the "phiris Sol or Luna one she*el hea#y made into thin lea#es, and put it together in an Alingel, close it hermetically, put it in our "#en to stand in digestion and circulation, till all is

dissol#ed, then let it stand in Algir ire, till it has gone through all the colours, so you will get a bloodHred glittering Carbuncle, a #ery great Medicine, which is unsearchable$ This is now a erment$ Melt - she*els of "phiris Sol, and let it flow in a good #essel of burnt )arth, place upon this - she*els hea#y of the Tincture, and it will penetrate the Sol, and change it into a bloodHred essence$ So is the @ing of the Ancients and the right /ed nature born$ "f this will + grain, change + she*el hea#y of other metals into Gold$ "r when you add Luna, in the conKunction in @una change$ Then mar*, when you add the Luna so you get a stone or Tincture on Luna, also a great Arcanum in Medicine, and the Tincture will appear #iolet glittering$ 8ear brethren, the Ancients ha#e not had one Way in preparing of this Mystery$ or some, when the Columba 8ianae they had separated from the Chaos, they ha#e allowed it to fly , times, in order to separate from it all Phlegmate$ Then you ha#e ta*en this, and a purified Phyton, poured into a croo*ed nec*ed glass, so as the Phyton is eaten by the other, then dri#e it o#er again, so that only the )arth remaining, which throw away$ There ha#e some that also raised, and ha#e increased their Columba 8ianae to infinitum, for if you distill it se#eral times it becomes stronger$ Then ha#e you out of the red )arth, which Water Adamicum called, the soul, the Life, the ire of the AncientsJ yes, the red fiery Lion eFtrahirt, the Phlegma distilled off, till it becomes a glittering (lood which they name the (lood of the Purple Snail$ This is to be well preser#ed, then ta*e "phiris Sol in leaflets and place into an Alingel, pour on the Columba 8ianae so much, until the gold is dissol#edJ to this solution pour the (lood of the 8ragon, and ha#e brought ire to ire, for this is most hidden, and without this in the wor*, you could not in an )ternity boil out, so has this LiGuor become as (lood$ Then ta*e the faeces, and strongly calcine, and with the Phlegmate eFtract the salt, and purify it, till it becomes clear, and li*e a 8iamond, then rub it small and put it in an Alingel, and pour on so much of the gory Phytonis that the Salt will dissol#e$ The glass must be &ermetically sealed, and then placed in the ire, and allowed to go through all the colours till the Puintessence has become firm, and then ta*e it out of the fire, rub it small again, and sprin*le it with the fiery gory Phyton, and again &ermetically seal the #essel, and allow it to go through the colours again, and then ha#e you found the augmentation, which can be practiced in infinitum$ Then ta*e of this Mystery, when it has become fluid, and ha#e "phiris Sol purified and melted with Puc* (ismuth and in the fire allowed to fume$ This is the @ing, which is eaten by the Wolf, and again !omited forth$ Place 3she*els weight of this purified Gold, and when it is flowing, throw in two she*els weight of the Tincture, so has the Sol become a clear Tincture$ "f this Tincture add again 3 half ounces of Sol and miFed together, place this miFture into a #essel, and pour on the fiery 8ragon, place it in the "#en and allow it to go through all the Colours, and continue this till the Tincture again becomes fluid, then ta*e this out of the ire, and add a part of this Tincture with melted Sol, until all the fiery LiGuor is consumed$ Then ta*e this Tincture out of the ire, and add an eGual part of melted "phiris Sol and then of + more part is necessarily employed, and then another part is added thereto$ And then the Columba 8ianae is thereon acti#e$ "thers of the dear Ancients ha#e before in the Columba 8ianae dissol#ed "phiris Sol, and ha#e fiFed and acti#ated this LiGuor therein, which is better, and the Wor* is increased in infinitum$ "f the Tincture add + grain to +E she*els weight of the Phyton thrown into the ire, and so it becomes the most lo#ely "phiris Sol$ The more times the Tincture is reiterated the higher it becomes, e#en as you ha#e assisted in the propagation, and so it has become a great Treasure$ 8ear brethrenJ the dear Ancients ha#e gone another way, that after you get the Green Lion, as the

Salt of %ature, so ha#e they ta*en such a hea#y Salt, and in the high pot 0 igure ++1 they ha#e placed it, and closed it well, and gi#en it a moist steamy heat, or placed in &orseHdung, and let this secret Salt stand so long until it dissol#es itself into a Green LiGuor, then they ha#e poured this into another high glass, put a head thereon, with a no>>le, and hung it in the Ashes to distill, till the Columba 8ianae began to flow, when it was all distilled o#er, they poured it bac*, thus distilling and cohobating till nothing remained behind but a brown )arth$

Figure 11 This afterwards they eFtracted the Phelgm from the eFtracted Spirit, and so obtained a red fiery water, this ha#e they put with each other in a clean #essel and distilled the phlegma thereof, till there remained a blood red 8ust$ "ut of the remainder a Salt is eFtracted, which remainder is first calcined, the Salt clarified, till it became Crystalli>ed, so ha#e they the new earth prepared, then they proceeded in the rest of the wor* as before taught, and got the great Mysterium$ Some of the dear Ancients ha#e our "ld one a bath prepared from the Spiritus Mercurii as formerly taughtJ and such with its own moisture 0blood1 dissol#ed and closed$ Then ha#e they prepared a Salt from such, and from such a #olatile Spirit a blood red "il is dri#en, further they ha#e ta*en the pure )arth, in which the (rilliant Salt was concealed, and they poured the red LiGuor thereon, and distilled and cohobated till all passed o#er$ Then ha#e they put this liGuor in a clean #essel, and dissol#ed "phiris Sol in it, the )arth they ha#e ta*en out of the abo#e #essel, and this LiGuor poured on, only one time, this they ha#e distilled off per Algir, and again poured thereon, and this so often continued, till nothing more rose up, then they ha#e poured a fresh LiGuor thereon, and then continued the wor* therein till all the LiGuor remained together, fiFed and flowing in the ire li*e a WaF$ This blood red salt ha#e they alloyed with "phiris Sol, and melted with each other, so has it become a Tincture, with which they howe#er tinged the other Metals, and ha#e transmuted them into Sol$ 8ear brethren our Ancients ha#e yet further seen and ta*en the ;ni#ersal @ey, whose preparation li*ewise in the beginning was taught, prepared from the Spiritus Mundi ;ni#ersal$ This LiGuor ha#e they poured on our "ld ones, which they first beat small, and placed each other in a !essel of Acures, in a small heat, till the LiGuor is tinged to a grass green colour$ The Solution they ha#e poured off, and another poured thereon, till all is eFtracted, they ha#e poured the clear Solutions together, and distilled + part of the Phlegmatic Spirit off, and placed the #essel in a cool place, till a pretty Smaragdine Salt was crystalli>ed$ The remainder they ha#e ta*en and distilled one half of it off, and placed the remainder in a cool place, then is there more green Salt crystalli>ed, and the remainder they ha#e reheated till all the Salt was crystalli>ed$ Then ha#e they ta*en this Salt as a great treasure, and this is in truth the right Green LionJ for out of this %iter is a Spirtus mercurii prepared with a blood red "il of great effect, and the dear Ancients ha#e prepared in this way the great Mysterium, then what concerns the after wor*, so is such all one wor*$ Lou may also in the wet way choose the one you wish$ The after wor* in the wet way is the Menstruum ;ni#ersale$

Ta*e putrefied ;rine and the acetum destillatum Spirit of Tartar amalgam and putrefy with each other, then put CalF !i#e in a high alembic, put a still thereon, which has a hole abo#e, and well luted$ When this has happened, then put the Alembic in sand, and gi#e ire, now when you thin* that the Alembic is heated, pour through a filter of the miFed LiGuor, through the hole in the still, so will the CalF !i#e be heated, you must howe#er close the hole firmly and must not pour too much on the CalF !i#e at once, otherwise it would run o#er 0pour it on gradually1, then will thy Spirit go o#er, collect it, and rectify it yet once per se$ With this you can eFtract from each Minera its Anima, whene#er you wishJ the menstruum can be prepared without ire, but the CalF !i#e must be good, and is also better in the "peration, when one will prepare this, so instead of ;rine ta*e a strong Spirit of TartarJ so also must e#erything be well rectified and clean, then it is practicable$ With this Menstruo eFtract the life and Spirit out of "ld Albaon, and according to instruction wor* in the Wet Way$ Also ha#e A again, dear brethren, shown a way, that you can assist, and come to the help of your poor brethren, who are otherwise in need and misery$ orsa*e not the poor Widows and "rphans$ (e #ery reticent$ Laud and Praise the name of God, &is &oly %ame 'eho#a$ Cry, that the air resound, &osanna, to the Son of 8a#id our brother, "ur @ing, "ur 8eli#erer, "ur Sa#iour$

8ear brethren, one might well wonder, how our dear Ancients hit on the thought to prepare a Medicine, which has alone happened through the inspiration of the great 'eho#ah, that the Metals could be ripened and transmuted higher, and how therewith they went to wor*, that they found the Primum Materian$ 8ear brethren, one says: /it$l$s 0nvention$s may be often "otior "ars 0nventionis$ As they saw that Sol and Luna were generated by so long boiling in the )arth of %ature, so must we freely wonder, how yet the dear Ancients fell on the thought, that through Art and the help of %ature, they could renew the way, and bring to pass by the )arth, Sol, Luna in such a short time$ Alone the dear Ancients ha#e learned through diligent speculation of %ature, what was their origin before the commencement, and out of What the Life of all creatures too* its origin, and how the Generation and commencement of the Metals may ha#e their "rigin$ This the dear Ancients ha#e #ery closely obser#ed, eFamined and found, that all metals too* their origin eF mercury or Phythone, thence are they dri#en, and ha#e ta*en the Phyton, and ha#e also therewith gone to wor*$ They ha#e howe#er eFperienced harm with such because it has become too metallicJ so ha#e they sought an other materiam, in which the Spirit Mercury is not yet made metallicJ and found such li*ewise among the Minerals, and afterwards called this with di#ers names, as Albaon in Arabic, in Latin, Plumbum %igrum, Abac*ho>odi, a blac* hea#y stuffJ they ha#e also called it Magnesium, (ismuth$ "ur Ancients ha#e called the stuff Puch, it is howe#er not the common Stibium, but a blac* grey roc*, often with white and other beautiful colours adorned, hea#y in weight, as A already taught you$ Will you now dear brethren go by the old road, so will A teach you shortly and plainly, not with many names, or in igures, as the )gyptians left it behind to their children, which are not to be di#ined or unriddled, but clearly and brotherly$

ormerly A ha#e pointed out and shown to you the wet way, and how you can find and prepare in such a way the Mysterium, and such a way is without danger$ This dry way, that A will describe to you and teach you, is somewhat dangerous, yet if you follow my teaching, then it will not fall hea#y on you, for as A ha#e described to you in all my igures throughout, two ways, so to the intelligent it is not difficult to understand, and ha#e also wished to show that in this igure .D9J for here you see flowing from a desert a white Lunar Water, which is the old progenitor of all things, prepared in two ways: irstly howe#er, you must understand, what of the two ways is ta*enJ namely the first proceeds from the atness of the )arth, out of the Primordial Chaos$ The other from our blac* hea#y lumpJ that howe#er the serpents crawl in the grass, and is of di#ers colors, the Phyton in the dry way, for this promptus is #ery poisonous, yet some times it ascends in the hills, and so becomes a flower, nearly medicinal, whilst then it is not so poisonous$ 8ear brethren, ta*e our hard lumps, and ma*e them into an inconcei#able powder$ MiF this powder with some small bro*en stones amalgam, so that in the sublimation, the powder does not melt, place this in a Pot, as you see, and ha#e a small "#en 0 igure +41$

Figure 12 The pot must be of good burnt earth, on this put a great glass head, and place a #essel before and gi#e ire, yet that the !essel is high up in the o#enJ when you see, that no more steam rises, then open a /egister, Mar*, that you do not lute the #essel, for otherwise it would be dangerous$ When all the #apour is gone, open the other /egister, then will the white flower mount up, or the (ird of &ermes, as the )gyptians call it$ Stop the ire, yet ta*e heed, that the material melts not, thus you should before miF something among the Materiam, that it does not melt$ Should the head become full of flowers, you must proceed till nothing rises up, ta*e the flowers from the heads and preser#e well$ Af there goes a little LiGuor o#er, wash out the flowers from the head with this LiGuor, for you ha#e its life in such$ An such a manner you can ma*e as many flowers as you wish, and when you ha#e a pretty tolerable portion, gather them together and preser#e them$ A say again, guard yourself, that you do not destroy the flowers with too strong of a heat$ Ta*e again a fresh Materiam, rub therein all your ascended Materiam, place this in the #essel, and place the head again thereon, gi#e the ire carefully, then will more flowers ascend, when the head is full, ta*e it off$ These flowers can be prepared also in this anneFed #essel, that one puts se#eral heads, one o#er the other, for otherwise, when the head is full, you must ta*e it off, and put another

thereon, which causes much annoyance in the wor*, and many flowers are lost$ Continue this till all the flowers ha#e ascended, then bring all the flowers together into the distilled LiGuor, put fresh Materiam into the #essel, and sublime the flowers, and so continue until you ha#e released the Phytone from +4 tit of the Materiam: i$e$, when you ha#e the flowers from +4 tit of the Materiam, you ha#e enough$ Then from our Albaon ascends the most, the remaining Materiam preser#e well$ Ta*e all the flowers together, and weigh them, when you ha#e + tit in weight, proceed thus$ Ta*e Luna and shut it up in a strong Water prepared from @ali potash and Salt )arth$ When it is thus shut up, then pour Water thereto, in which common Salt is dissol#ed, then will the Luna be precipitated, which sweeten well with Water and ma*e dryJ ta*e of this +E she*els hea#y, rub the precipitated Luna with +Q4 of the flowers and being well miFed place this in a #essel of Acures, place in the "#en, as abo#e mentioned in Sand, and heat it carefully 0 igure +D1$

Figure 13 Then will the flowers ascend much prettier and clearer than in the commencement, and a Spirit li*e Water will go o#er$ Ta*e your sublimed flowers, rub them again among the remainder and sublime it - times more, then it becomes li*e a diamond, and is not so poisonous$ The remainder can be melted and purified and thus reco#er the Luna that is leftJ or you can sublime the Columba 8ianae 4 times more, then will they get a great brillianceJ ta*e this up for it is now already Medicinal, and no more poisonous$ The other half of the flowers, as you abo#e preser#ed, ta*e and ma*e with the Water Ga>a out of the "phiris Sol, a 8ust, which sweeten well, rub it among the flowers and bring it into a #essel, and do, as you were shortly before taught, and let this rise also - times from the ecibus, then let it rise two times more, then ha#e you the Phytons golden winds prepared, and then is ready the noble flower ChelidonisJ then ha#e the Ancients ta*en the /esiduum, and burnt to ashesJ out of these ashes they ha#e prepared a Salt, which was clear and cleanJ this they ha#e

rubbed small and weightedJ with E she*els hea#y of this Salt, they ha#e rubbed 4 parts of these flowers, and put it in an Alingel, and placed this in an "#en in Sand, and let it stand in Algir ire, and in a short time has the (lac* "ne appeared, and then it goes through all the colours to a White Stone$ This they ha#e ta*en out, and rubbed again + part therein of the Columba 8ianae, and again put it in the "#en$ This they ha#e repeated , times, then they ha#e let flow four she*els of Luna, and then thrown into it 4 she*els of the Tincture, and let it flow well, and so ha#e they got a Tincture to transmute other metals into Luna, and + grain will transmute +4 to +E she*els of other metals into LunaJ Also they ha#e proceeded with the golden flowers, and ha#e gotten the /ed Tincture, to tinge other metals into Sol$ 8ear brethren, the Ancients ha#e seen and found yet another wayJ they ha#e dried up the flowers from its own Corpus E to , times, till these flowers ha#e become glittering and pure$ Then they ha#e ta*en and weighed them, and rubbed them with the flowers of Phythoana Anima, and put this together into a #essel, and sublimed in a mild ire, so has one Phyton the other swallowed up, mounted out and up$ This they ha#e ta*en out and let ascend alone aloft per se, so ha#e they obtained the Phyton of the Wise Masters, and then multiplied it$ This they ha#e named their White lower$ Which howe#er the Ancient s understood nothing, and it is not true, that one could increase with the Phytone alone, for they ha#e ta*en the /esiduum, and calcined this to the half, and from this prepared a Salt, this Salt they miFed among the other uncalcined Materiam, and placed this in a good #essel of burnt )arth, then ha#e they melted it with each other, and after the first part e#aporated, got a brown red Acures, this ha#e they rubbed small, and weighed, and rubbed again + part of this Acures with D parts of the white flower, and put with one another in a #essel, and let ascend, and this ha#e they repeated till the white flower ascended red 0 igure +-1$

Figure 14 This they ha#e named the red Lion and also their Sol, for the Pietre out of the Acures has Kointly ascended, and this they ha#e alone preser#ed, as also + part of the Acures$ The remainder ha#e they ta*en, and calcined with strong ire, and made a clarified Salt out of itJ then they rubbed the Acures therein, and also the red lowers, and put such in a stone #essel of burnt )arth, and put this in the ire, and let the ire commence slowly, so has the red lower flown Kointly, then ha#e they continually struc* the #essel, and ta*en this out clean, and rubbed it small, and preser#ed it$ 8ear brethren, when you ha#e come so far, then you ha#e the Tincture in the "#en ire cleaned and multiplied 0 igure +61$

Figure 15 Lou ha#e ta*en a #essel, as A ha#e shown, of good burnt earth, and put such into the fireJ ta*e parts of the red flower, and + part of the white Phytonis, rubbed amongst each other in a #essel of Agate and Acures, put into the crucible, so has the red flower spread o#er the white one, and with great luster with each other allied and dissol#ed, and made also your Tincture in little timeJ then ha#e you ta*en the #essel out of the ire, and such laid down, and carefully pic*ed it all outJ and then again rubbed small, and rubbed amongst - parts to + part of the Columba 8ianae and then melted, and thus you ha#e repeated , times, and then you must cease, because your Tincture is liGuid, and it penetrates all #esselsJ of this ta*e - parts, and carried such to 3 parts of "phiris Sol, and so it becomes a red penetrating Stone$ This you ha#e di#ided into 4 parts, and rubbed + part among 4 parts of the penetrating Tincture and also put therein of the Columba 8ianae, and then melted with each other, and repeated this , times, then ha#e you augmented your Tincture in AnfinitumJ the half you reser#ed of this Tincture melted with Sol, you ha#e employed for your maintenance, for - grains of this Tincture transmutes +E she*els hea#y of other metals in fluF into most beautiful Sol$ Lou ha#e also prepared your Tincture, with the white lower per se, or with the addition of the fabricated Luna, the most you ha#e only prepared per se, and increased with the Phytone, and then ha#e you ta*en "phiris Sol, and made it into and incomprehensible 8ust, well sweetened, of this you ha#e ta*en + she*el hea#y, and 4 she*els of the Columba 8ianae rubbed thereon, and placed this in the Alingel, or into another #essel as here stands Mar*ed 0 igure +E1$

Figure 16 This #essel is closed well together, and place this #essel in an "#en placed in sand, and let it sand till the Columba 8ianae has ascended, then ta*e out the #essel, and rub the Ascended again amongst the Lowest, and thus repeated so often, till it has flown together firm$ Then ta*e this /ed Tincture out, and again rub therein + part of the Columba 8ianae, and this again put into the #essel and ma*e it firm, and this should be repeated D times$ Then must you cease, because the Tincture has become so penetratingJ ta*e this out and weigh it, and let + part of the Tincture flow with - parts of Sol, and so the Sol will become pre TinctureJ from this Tincture put in +Q4 of it again and so proceed as before taught, with the other half you can transmute the base Metallica into Sol, + grain tinges +5 she*els hea#y into Sol$

Let a narrow and secret way ha#e the "ld Ancients proceeded$ After you ha#e prepared the white flowers, as the Columba 8ianae, so ha#e they caused them to ascend from the calcined aecibus, till it has become in some degree auriferous$ Then they ha#e calcined the /esiduum strongly, and eFtracted the Salt with distilled Water, purified and crystalli>ed$ Such Salt they ha#e rubbed small and rubbed - half ounces Salt to + half ounce of fine beaten "phiris Sol, and melted them, they got a blood red Sol, of this they ha#e ta*en - parts, and rubbed therein + part of Columba 8ianae, and put this into such a #essel 0 igure +,1 and such well preser#ed, put into our o#en in sand, and let stand so long, till it was incorporated$ Then they ha#e ta*en it out again, and rubbed + part of the Columba 8ianae, and put again into the double #essel, placed in sand, and then proceeded, till the ,th time$

Figure 17 This Tincture they ha#e fused with "phiris Sol, of this they reser#ed half, the other half is miFed with + part of the Columba 8ianae, and thus repeated ,times$This Tincture is more penetrating than the one before$ The nature is most hidden, for the dear Ancients from illumination of the great 'eho#ah saw yet further, and prepared their Tincture in such a manner$ Thus they manufactured their white flowers, and so do they ha#e all the LiGuorem, which they changed, preser#ed and collectedJ The white lowers ha#e they purified, by simple progressing, till they appeared li*e a diamondJ such ha#e they raised, or with the flowing Phyton united, and again sometimes ascended with each other, then they ha#e raised up this poisonous reptile and 8ragon$ The LiGuorem they ha#e sometimes distilled o#er, till it has become li*e tears from the eyes$ There will howe#er not be much of this$ This they ha#e ta*en, and from the remaining aecebus, remaining behind, eFtracted the Pitre, and always distilled off their Spirit again from the Pitre, and this so often poured on fresh Materiam, till the Spirit has become smallJ that they could ha#e eFtracted nothing moreJ then ha#e they eFtracted all the (lood, and so always in the distilling off it remaining, which done together is also raised up$ Which is nobler than Sol$ This is called the (lood of the 8ragon$ The remaining aeces ha#e they strongly calcined, and eFtracted from this a salt, which they ha#e clarified, till it has become pure and li*e a 8iamond, for one must clean it well$ Then they ha#e rubbed this Salt small, and put the (lood of the Ancients thereon, and melted such in a #essel of Acures together gently, so has the Salt become blood red,

and the red and white lowers they ha#e prepared again$ This they ha#e associated in a #essel for a short time, and got a penetrating Tincture therefrom, also they ha#e ta*en of the red lower, or of the /ed Lion 4 parts, of the Gluten or Columba 8ianae + part, rubbed such amongst each other, put in a #essel of good burnt )arth, and with Acures co#ered$ Such ha#e they added a lid to it, that nothing can fall in, and place the #essel, that in preparing the ire, that it is heated gradually, and heat it for - hours, so the red flower too* the white into itself, and this repeated till the ,th time$ This is that, which the Ancients said, how they finished their stone in four hours$ They ha#e ta*en of such one part and added to four parts of "phiris Sol in fluF, so it will become pure tinctureJ of which they ha#e incorporated half of this with one part of Columba 8ianae, as has been taught till the se#enth time, and in such a manner increased their wor* in infinitum, whereby they supported themsel#es in their need and came to the help of their poor imprisoned brethren or 'esseRs son, 8a#idJ +st Chron$ Chap$ 4D, !$ +-J has learned it by preser#ing the secret arcane of his forefathers, and MosesR miracles$ And how could 8a#id assist the necessitous, if he *new no way to help himselfM Les 8a#id, before he could prepare Sol and Luna, he got bread for himself, for he was not sure$ "f Solomon it is said in @ings D, Chap$ +5$ that he made as much Sol and Luna as there are stones$ At stands that it is true, that he had it brought in ships from "phir, where howe#er did 8a#id get it hitherM And why has /oboamRs son been obliged after his death to li#e in such po#ertyM Was he not able to send ships to "phir, in order to fetch SolM Certainly this @ing, because he wanted Wisdom, that comes from the Lord, would not ha#e been able to fill his co#etousness$ (ut "phiris Sol is something Guite different$ Therefore ha#e also many of our fathers, who were in need and care, found such noble treasures that they would help themsel#es anew$ or when they were with God, so was that also with them, as his chosen people$ That he has howe#er denied us his blessing, which is caused by us and our fathersR sins, which he a#enges unto the +555th generation$ Therefore call and cry that he may hear us, and con#ert by repentance$ That we follow his #oice, and depart from the unrighteous ways$ 8id we wal* in his precepts, then would we also recei#e prosperity and be glad in God$

8ear brethren, AhN That you might understand me, what A at present draw before youN or A spea* e#en with you, as with children, not in dar* words$ Get learning and then set out to do the wor*, that your poor brethren might be relie#ed from anFiety$ Thin* yet how their minds are troubled under their oppression, that they cannot once raise their heads on high for distressJ therefore my heart brea*s, to show you a way, to help you and them$ Can you not wor*, then pray to the Lord, that he will gi#e you wisdom: 8aniel Ch$ 6, !$ 4+ and 44$ At is forsooth easy and insignificant, if you only loosen yourself from all eFpensi#e things in the world$ Therefore dear (rethren, ha#e A here drawn you a figure, where you may ha#e two ways before

your eyes$ irst you see, how the "ld Albaon chops off with his sword the intractable Winged feet of the Phytoni, and that the Phyton has in his hands a staff, the meaning of this is, that when such has happened, he then has a twoHfold nature, which the two serpents point out$ This "ld Procreator is drawn out once from the Primordialis Chaos, that is signified from the ire appearing 8ragon$ (ut howe#er the "ld "ne floats in the Air, denoted the Spiritus ;ni#ersalem or Phyton, the beginning of all things, as A, dear brethren, ha#e taught you in the beginning$ The "ld "ne howe#er has a Scythe or reaping hoo*, and will cut off the feet of the Phyton, which is an indication that such also can be prepared from another Materia than out of the Albaon, which is a blac* grey and hea#y Materia, and one can get in abundance$ And that the "ld "ne floats in the Air has the meaning, that from this "ld "ne, as A taught you before you shall prepare the Columba 8ianae, and such blend with the Phytone, and once more cause it to rise, and then you get a twoHfold Phyton, or the right Gluten, the fiery 8ragon in the wet way$ (ut there is prepared from the Green Lion a crawling 8ragon, and you ha#e it before your eyes, and can compare with the "ld "ne the wet way, and the 8ragons the dry way$ An the wor* you go one, beyond, in the dry way in the preparatory wor*, there is another Modus than in the Wet$ 8ear brethren, that A may show you, howe#er, that the Ancients possessed more secrets, for they are not all united in their ideas$ Those who had not the understanding, that they could fabricate the Lapis Albaohest or the Phyton of the Ancients, yet ha#e they *nown the Materiam, and ha#e been in a position to go to wor* on such$ They ha#e seen that the Alatron could be eFtracted from the )Fcrements of animals, so did they come on the thought that in Man, the most eminent productionJ in and out of which such eFcrement was freGuently to be got$ They ha#e therefore collected from healthy males their ;rine, and let such stand in cas*s to putrefy$ Then ha#e they prepared through many distillations a #olatile Spirit Phytonis, as well in a dry form as also a LiGuor in an horrible fiery form and Property therefrom$ This they ha#e well preser#ed, and *ept it in an Alingel, then they ha#e here con#eyed and ha#e prepared from the %oble Wine their &ea#en and Spiritus Phytonis$ These two fiery 8ragons they ha#e poured together, and again dri#en o#er, till the most of which ascended into a white GlutenJ which they ha#e put into an Alingel, and raised, then they ha#e ta*en of the @alii and of the Salt )arth eGual parts, and out of both ha#e dri#en with strong ire, out of a croo*ed #essel a strong Water, or ha#e from these two stuffs ta*en only one such miFed with an )arth, and with strong ire prepared one Water therefrom$ This they ha#e dri#en o#er se#eral times, that no moisture was there$ Then ha#e they put the abo#e #olatile salty LiGuor + part into a pot, as here depicted 0 igure +31$

Figure 18 Such co#ered with a head with a long bea*, place in a mild steamy heat or ($M$ placed in Water, then they ha#e prepared the others from the !itriol and %itreJ and also by degrees poured + part thereto, then ha#e these two fiery 8ragons bit each other powerfully, and fought, till they at least remained lying dead$ Then they ha#e put a #essel with a spoon to the bea*, and ha#e dri#en a

Phytonis spirit thereo#er$ When the half also had flown o#er, they then ha#e ta*en off the !essel, the remainder they ha#e thrown away, the Spirit which flew up, they rectified once, and ha#e gotten a mysterious LiGuor, with which they ha#e gone to wor*$ "thers ha#e ta*en the abo#e fiery salty LiGuor, of which + part, and added of Water Ga>a the half, then dri#en it o#er, and ha#e also successfully proceeded, and ha#e then also got the Spirit Phytonis, as a *ey to the Art, then ha#e they ta*en our Matter, it is (ismuth or Cobalt, and beat it small, put it into a #esselJ "f this secret LiGuor poured thereon, to the height of 4 diagonal hands o#er the matter, and place this in a mild heat, continued till the LiGuor is coloured grass green, the tinged LiGuor is poured off, and fresh liGuor is poured on, so ha#e they got a grass green LiGuor and again a green SolutionJ these tinged LiGuors they ha#e put together into a #essel, and dri#en it o#er to the half, the remainder ha#e they put in a cool place, so ha#e the stones crystalli>ed, as Samaragdine$ These they ha#e ta*en out, the LiGuor again drawn off to the half$ Placed the #essel in a cool place, then are yet more crystals crystalli>ed$ Then ha#e they made this secret Salt dry, and placed in a croo*ed #essel, and laid this in an "#en, that the ire should beat around it, and then dri#e out with strong ire a #olatile Spirit with an "il, so has the Spirit gone o#er in a horrible Wind$ or that reason they ha#e luted a great ball in front of the croo*ed nec*ed #esselJ the ball ha#e they ta*en away, and there remained behind for them an AlinnegraJ then they ha#e poured the LiGuor bac* upon the matter, and replaced the ball, and dri#en o#er the LiGuor againJ and this they ha#e repeated 2 or +5 times$ Then they ha#e ta*en off the ball with the LiGuor, and separated into 4 parts, and purified it well, then they ha#e obtained a white and high yellow SpiritJ with the white they ha#e washed the Alingel, and poured the white Spirit thereon, and well miFed them together, placed in a mild heat, and then the Spiritus Phytonis becomes a blood red colourJ this they ha#e poured off, and poured on the abo#e mentioned high yellow LiGuorJ and the other on the Latonem, and so long washed, till all redness has been drawn out of itJ and that which remained behind was beautiful white, this they ha#e well preser#ed$ They ha#e poured together all the red LiGuor, and the white Spirit in a high #essel was dri#en off, till a thic* blood came o#er$ This they ha#e put aside, and then they ha#e caused yet more to fly, from the flown o#er (ird, that all watery moisture was separated therefrom$ Then ha#e they calcined the remaining )arth$ And with the Phlegma drawn out a Salt, which they purified, and then they rubbed therein the (lood of the Ancients 0which is more precious than "phiris Sol1 placed into a croo*ed nec*ed #essel, and poured the flying (ird thereon, and then distilled and cohobated$ Then ha#e they called such a LiGuor their Chaos$ This ha#e they put into an Acures well secured$ The remaining white )arth ha#e they ta*en, whereof they in the beginning eFtracted the white Salt, and rubbed it small, and put it into a #essel of Acures 0 igure +21$

Figure 19 And weighted the same, and added to it 4 parts of the abo#e LiGuor, and then put the #essel in a

8ear brethren, that it may not fail you in the instruction, so A will her in conclusion, will not hold bac* from you the remaining secrets of the Ancients, but will re#eal these, wherewith you may be able to come to the help of the necessitous$ A ha#e again drawn a igure, which comprehends much in itself$ Gi#e heed to it well$ Lou see, that a @ing stands in the igure with a na*ed swordJ his soldiers are *illing innocent children, and they collect the blood in a well standing thereby, which this is already filled with blood, in order to colour it yet some more$ Anto which descends Sol and Luna, to bathe themsel#es therein$ This igure has a twoHfold meaning This igure has a twoHfold meaning, as well in the wet and dry way$ That the @ing stands, and has a sword in his hand, means, that one shall *ill the @ing with it, which means nothing else but one shall ta*e "phiris Sol, and with such a double edged sword, with the double Central ire, burn up and disintegrate, where A ha#e shown you also, two ways, such to get it o#er$ The first is prepared out of the ;ni#ersal Chaos, the other from the Animal, !egetable and Mineral$ Particularly must you conform to my teaching, where A showed, how the Ancients therewith went to wor*$ They ha#e ta*en this fiery flying Spirit, and poured this on the Phyton, and so has it ta*en away from it the metallic nature, and has become a glutinous white water$ With this ha#e they further proceeded, and this LiGuor they again poured on fresh Phyton, so has it also become a thic* #iscous water$ Then ha#e they ta*en the @ing, and dissol#ed it therein, then has it become red li*e to (lood$ This (lood ha#e they now also called the /ed Lion, this ha#e they fiFed, and as A already taught you, augmented their wor* with this sloppy Phyton, and also found a blessed ending$ "thers ha#e prepared these two ires in their #olatile form, and ta*en and dissol#ed the @ing with this, and distilled therefrom the flying (ird partly, to a red LiGuor$ This they ha#e preser#ed, and put tone side, then ha#e they also dissol#ed of the 8iana, so ha#e they got a blueHgreen waterJ of such ha#e they li*ewise from the LiGuor drawn the flying (ird in a mild heat, whereof they could not *inder, that this Spirit, as well from the @ing, as whose spouse should not ha#e carried and ta*en something away$ "n this account ha#e they poured this flying (ird with solar and lunar feathers on the Phyton, so has it again dissol#ed itself again in such$ They ha#e they poured off the clear Solution, and put again on a fresh Phyton, so ha#e they got a fat and hea#y LiGuor, then ha#e they the @ing and Pueen allied with each other, and poured together$ "f such ha#e they put the half into an Alingel, and as hea#y as these two weighed, poured thereon of their fatty hea#y LiGuor$ Then in such is the beginning and efficacious and ha#e and also herewith sealed hermetically their springs, with each other well closed, and on our o#en allowed to go through the colours, till such had become firm$ Then ha#e they ta*en it out, and rubbed small, again thereon poured of the (lood of the @ing and Pueen one portion, as also of this Cadmi one portion, and howe#er with each other let it become fiFt$ This ha#e they repeated, till the (lood of the @ing all had been consumed$ Then ha#e they ta*en out their Tincture, and di#ided it into to two portions, the one they ha#e caused to flow with eGual parts of "phiris Sol, and so it has become a pure Tincture$ Then ha#e they again di#ided this Tincture into two portions, the one portion ha#e they *ept themsel#es for sustenance of their life, the other ha#e they howe#er blended with the half of the unmelted Tincture,

and rubbed amongst each other, this again put into an Alingel, moistened with the Gluten AGuillae, that it had not only become rather thic*ish, closed the Alingel well, and this again let it go through the colours for iFation and this ha#e they practiced in Anfinitum$ That should you *now howe#er, that this Tincture cannot be brought so high, as that described in the foregoing, which too* its origin from the old Albaon, or otherwise prepared from a #olatile solar material or Metallic SeedJ for the Well in this igure from which the blood red water gushes, signifies our (lood of the "ld Albaon, which pure #olatile Tincture is, in which Sol and Luna bathe themsel#es, or in which they grow young again$ This igure also signifies the ineFhaustible augmentation of our great wor*, and is nothing other than our three beginning parts whereof our single Materia ta*e their origin, with and through which is All in All, as well under as abo#e the earth were born all Minerals and Metals, which Materia called by its right name, also the analysis clearly taught$ Will you on this account, in all truth remember this much thereof$ "ur old one according to appearance is li*e a lead ore, but in its parts is a pure #olatile Sol and LunaJ it dissol#es almost all its Corpus into a Water by !itriol and %itre prepared, which is a wonder that !itriol can be metamorphosedJ one finds also often that our "ld "ne has white poisonous bones, which is a pure poisonous Phyton or Seed, and is here a to*en, that %ature see*s to ma*e this once again #olatile, for in such a form it can become no MetalJ for when this comes into the open ire, it flies all away, and lea#es scarcely a little Solar Luna behind$ 8o not be terrified before this poisonous reptile, for this "ld "ne lies in#ariable and li#es, yet it is a li#ing Materia, which breathes and eFhales without ceasing it smells through a whole room, and when our "ld "ne is triturated and brought into the smallest molecule, anneFed to such and is put together into a #essel, then this poisonous serpent coalesces againJ so indeed, that if it is often dri#en from one #essel to another, and coalesces so, that one can with no mallet can often bring from one anotherJ and that this is such a metallic Phyton or pure Seed, is shown by its high dar* blue color, which with help of white sand or Puart>, or when it is miFed with powder, from the stones 0as 8a#id employed it, from the broo* with which he *illed Goliath1 so it gi#es in a strong fire a hea#enly dar* blue Acures, that also its Tincture and Strength shows itself in all places$ When this material is not yet too old in the mountain pits is met with, then it appears as a Luna with red intermiFed, and is called a #olatile Lunar ore$ Af this Mineral is older and has stood longer, then it has all the colours of the world, as Lunar white with #iolet or blue, red with golden little spar*s intermiFed, often Guite pure$ The third species is, when this in the pits begins to become white, then the colours are partly lost, and the material becomes sil#er grey miFed with much white$ There is in this a most poisonous and pure #olatile Tincture, which is well to bear in mind, and all three are of one species and from one root, only that one possesses more Tincture, than the other, yet are all three precious in the Art, and this material is a right &ermaphrodite, i$e$, of masculine and feminine seed$ The other Materia is also not to be thrown away, for it is almost in all its parts a pure #olatile Sol seed, loo*s usually li*e pure Sol, is found also in red and yellow Marc>, in blac* and yellow grains, also in grey and white sand miFed with blac* grains, rom such may it also be dissol#ed with a LiGuor, and brought into Crystals of strange properties$ A ha#e also pointed out, what the Materia is, which is denoted by so may strange %ames and igures for it is e#erywhere easy to get$ All other Tinctures as A ha#e shown and described to you, from other Materia are only helpers in need, and ta*e away often more times than when you had the correct MateriamJ if howe#er one can not ha#e this, while one is not Gualified in all places, so will A on that account yet further show you, when you ha#e no Sol or Luna, as from the base Metals a Tincture prepare, be means of the abo#e named double fiery spirits$ "thers howe#er who had no Sol or Luna at the beginning too* their #olatile ire and mars, and made it tenderly into 8ust, and poured thereon the LiGuor, and placed the !essel in a mild heat, and so it dissol#ed the Mars into a

high green colour$ This Solution they poured off, and poured fresh thereonJ this they continued till all was eFtracted, the li*e they did also with !enus, then they poured these two together into a #ery tall #essel, and allowed to fly a little more than half of this Spirit to distill o#er$ The remainder they placed in a cool place, so they gathered Crystals as Sapphires and TurGuoises$ These they too* out, the remainder, which was yet Koined to no Salt, they too*, and allowed the bird to fly o#er again to the half, and placed the remainder again down, then added the remaining Salt afterwards$ &ere they had a mar#elous Salt, so in its interior a pure (lood, and Tincture, for the abo#e fiery Water ta*es only the spiritual body of the !enus and Mars$ The fiery Spirit which was drawn o#er from the !enus and mars, they too*, and poured it on the Phyton, and so dissol#ed it in such$ The solution they brought also into a tall #essel, and distilled the fiery &umidity therefromJ for the Phyton does not ascend easily, so they met with such a hea#y mucilaginous and #iscous Water, and this they preser#ed well$ Then they too* their mar#elous %itre, and rubbed it small$ &ere they were not united in the wor*, for so brought it into a croo*ed nec*ed #essel 0 igure D61, and dro#e from this a Spirit and red "il with force of the fire$ They cohobated the Spirit with the "il from the remaining red )arth so often, till the most part of it had flown o#er$

Figure 35 rom the remaining )arth they eFtracted with the laid up &umidity, so they distilled off from the Phyton a white Salt, this they also brought into their LiGuor$ These three now they put in a mild heat, that they should unite with each other$ Then they distilled such with each other, with a strong ire and Cohobando from a strong #essel, they got a LiGuor of mar#elous effect$ "f this they too* one portion and of the LiGuor in which the Phyton had Koined, also one portion, these two they poured together, and distilled them afterwards with a strong ire Cohobando$ They too* this LiGuor and di#ided it into - portions, the one portion they brought into an Alingel, and shut it well, and let them together go through the colours$ "thers howe#er, who were more *nowing, too* the )arth, from which the %itre remained behind, and heated it thoroughly, and it is well true, and brought it into such a #essel, which was tall, because such was of a #irginal essence, and poured on the LiGuor, when the )arth weighed one she*el, they poured ,she*els hea#y of the LiGuor thereon, and put the #essel only in an o#en in sand and began to distill, and distilled what would go o#er$ The o#er ascended they cohobated, till it all remained firm behind$ Then they poured on fresh LiGuor + portion thereof, and continued such, till it would no more be coagulated, but flew into the #essel together, fiFed and constant in the ire$ "f this LiGuor now carried o#er, they poured + portion to +E portions of !enus in fluF, and got the most beautiful Sol$ Then they too* of this Sol - portions, and let it flow, and threw + portion of their Tincture thereon, then it became pure Tincture$

This they parted into 4 portions, and put the one portion again in, and wor*ed immediately, and were helped in their need$ "thers, howe#er who were more sage, too* this mar#elous Salt, and brought such into a #essel, closed it and put it into a mild heat or in horseHdung, in order that it resol#e itself into a grass green LiGuor, which they li*ewise ga#e may mar#elous names$ This they now too*, and brought it into a croo*ed nec*ed #essel of Acures, and separated this LiGuor from each other, and put it again together, as A ha#e already taught you$ This now of a simple conception was made with great trouble from this salty LiGuor, as mentioned pre#iously, with a strong ire, which alone they made firm, and had no *nowledge of the Phyton, how it has a coHagent, as Sol and Luna must be in doing this, that they also its seed ga#e thereto$ When now that they carried their Tincture to the !enus so it indeed became also a Tincture, when howe#er they carried this to other Metals, before they carried it to the !enus, as that pre#iously happened to a Sol containing !enus$ &ere they *new not how to help themsel#es, and if they carried this Tincture to the Phyton, so it would not ta*e it in, for it was yet in its combustible bodies, therefore they must be satisfied with what they had, that their wor* was not once satisfied$ 8ear brethren, %ature is most hidden, yet she can gi#e no more, than she herself has in her power$ "thers now who had no Sol or Luna in readiness, yet from a mighty understanding when they prepared their double fiery spirit, they preser#ed such, and made, as A taught you already in the beginning, a solar Spirit in pure Water, and let such again therefrom fume, this they ha#e repeated se#eral times, then they poured a Spirit prepared from the !ino thereon, and eFtracted all solar Tincture thereout$ This Spirit they now distilled again, till there remained a red 8ust, on this 8ust they now poured their fiery Water, and eFtracted it se#eral times, then they got an auriferous Phyton, then they made with the fiery Water also from the Phyton a glutinous LiGuor, and poured these two together, and made this according to the Art firmJ then they got an "il Tincture on !enus in Sol$ "thers howe#er made a Salt from the Mars and !enus as is taught and from this with force of the fire dro#e an "il LiGuor and poured these D in similar weight together$ The )arth !irgineam so remaining, they calcined with strong ire and commenced to carry their Tincture thereon, as is already said, and so they got a Tincture much stronger than the former, and could also easily increase this$ Therefore can you see, dear brethren, when you wish to, that the All Wise @ing of the World has shown enough ways, to help you in your need$ That howe#er A *eep nothing bac*, what can ser#e only to your well being, so ha#e some of the Ancients also gone in the following way, for they not always would ha#e been able to attain their purpose, and ha#e yet understood and *nown the true Mineral Materia$ So ha#e they ta*en such, and beat small, and with this Menstruo or fiery Water dissol#ed its body, and prepared from the same a mar#elous Salt, and ha#e come much closer to %ature$ With such a Green Lion ha#e they gone to wor*, according to the abo#e teaching, and ha#e also obtained their purpose$ "thers who *new not how to help themsel#es, and who wanted wisdom only merely with this fiery Water unfolded "phiris Sol into a blood red Tincture, and again mildly distilled such a fiery Water therefrom, till a red 8ust remained$ This 8ust they ha#e carried to other Sol standing in a red fluF, and tinged such Sol with it, and transmigrated it to a brittle red Massa, with which they ha#e brought some portions of Luna into Sol$ A could, dear brethren, re#eal yet more of the same secrets, but the life of man is too short, but A ha#e only wished to show you the most secret and important ways, but A ha#e only wished to show you the most secret and important ways, that you might ha#e something for consolation in your oppression, in order to free your poor imprisoned brethren from the bonds of ser#itude, and come to

the help of poor widows and orphans, and to pro#ide for the necessitous and miserable, that you through doing will eradicate all e#il$ Gi#e alms willingly, fast and pray, for such eradicates sin and releases from death$ Lou will support yourself that you may li#e$ Tobit +4$ &old this boo* e#en concealed, that the curse may not come on you, and you be banished from the earth$ Act wisely and wait in patience$ The blessing of Abraham, Asaac and 'acob will come to you, and God will fulfill the promise of Abraham$ The Lord will *eep his co#enant, and he has sworn$ Come all, you chosen ones to praise the Lord, the @ing of all the World$ Lou ser#ants of God praise the Lord for his gifts, and praise the eternal Sa#iour, who li#es for e#er$ Praise with me and all that is by us, praise the LordN Praised be &e, who releases &is people, and raises from the dust$ May &is @ingdom remain to )ternity$ &alleluKa, &ossanna, &alleluKa$ Finis% A .h%rt E8)la(ti%( %& 9erm# &r%m the Arabi$ u#e* i( thi# :%%0; Acanus HHH irst metal Asophol HHH Gold Marc> HHH Clean #irgin Mars or !irgin )arth Acures HHH /etort Algir HHH ire Albaon HHH Plumbum %igrum 0Lead1, Magnesia, (ismuth Puc* or Puch HHH Stibium 0Antimony1 Phyton HHH Mercury Figure# < N%te# &r%m A*am 6$Lea(=# Al$hem' "eb#ite;
