First of all Flipkart service is delightful. Got the product delivered in just 3 days in Punjab. That's seriously fast. I have been using this flash drive for a month now and here is but I think about this product: Pros: ) Nice Build Quality: The plastic body feels very strong. ) Nice Design: You can put the cap in backside while using it, reducing the chances of loosing the cap. ) Good Read Speed: It gives a consistent read speed of slightly above 19 MBPS and it remains above 19 MBPS even for large amount of data transfer(Never goes below 18 MBPS). ) Affordable Price: I got this 8 GB flash drive for Rs.304, which is much lower than some other flash drives from Sony, HP, Kingston. However they perform the same. ) Good Size: The size of this flash drive is neither too big nor too small so it comes in the mid range of sizes which makes it easy to use in most of the places and there is lesser chance of loosing it.

problem when you use your flash drive with your car music system or with your LCD TV or DVD Player. Cons: ) Low Write Speed: Now that is the only con with this flash drive. The average write speed is about 3.8 MBPS (sometimes goes above 5 MBPS for some files) which I think is low. I had a 4 GB TOSHIBA flash drive earlier that gave the write speed of 6 to 8 MBPS. However my Kingston 8 GB DTIG3 flash drive also gives the same 3 to 4 MBPS write speed. So to conclude my review I think this flash drive is worth its price and is a very good choice if you can accept 3-4 MBPS write speed. However I have tried many flash drives like Sony, Kingston, Sandisk, HP and no one of them has been able to satisfy me in terms of write speeds. Remember I am talking about 8 GB flash drives. I have a 4GB Kingston and a 4GB TOSHIBA flash drive and both of them give good write speeds of 6 to 8 MBPS. So this was my Review of TOSHIBA Hayabusa 8GB Flash Drive. After a bit of research, (which I always do before buying any peripherals whether it costs 1k or 45k) I short-listed Toshiba Hayabusa 8gb Pen Drive. My previous pen drive is also a Toshiba 4Gb which I bough in 2007. When buying a USB pen drive I insist on 3 things: a) A Cap to protect it from dust and moisture b) LED indicator to identify whether data is being read/transferred c) An eyelid to hook your pen drive to your key chain etc. Pros: 1) Brilliant small design - Compact, yet handy. Feels solid, made of good quality plastic. 2) Cap can be removed and fitted on the main body making it impossible to loose the cap. 3) LED indicator is beautiful green. Yes, its is concealed and can't be spotted. 4) Data transfer speed is satisfactory, compliant with USB 2.0 standards 5) Toshiba is one of the pioneers in chip fabrication and is obviously a good brand. 6) 'Made in Philippines' engraved on the reverse side. Tired of 'Made in China' mark. :)) 7) Competitively priced! 8) Personally, I like the colour! Its cool. Cons: 1) Toshiba should include free lanyard to hook your pen drive with its eyelid.

Received two 4 GB Toshiba Hyabusa Pendrives, blue & orange, from Flipkart. Packaging was adquate. Delivery was couple of days late which is unusual, then I was in no hurry. Now about the products: 1. Writing speed is 3-4 MB/s in my old Athlon 1.8 GHz machine running WIN XP & Norton Internet Security. A bit slow even for USB 2.0. 2. Size & shape are to my liking. They are small enough to be carried in wallet but sufficiently large to handle easily. 3. Build quality is okay for the price. The connector is encased in metal & the body is made of plastic - both of which I prefer. The cap could have been made of softer plastic. The cap can be connected to the back of the body - good thinking by the designer. There is a hole for attaching lanyard. No flashing lights here & I don't need any. These Hyabusa pendrives are neither cute nor fashion statements. They are just no-nonsense utility gadgets available at a low price. These pendrives are not suitable for people who are in a hurry, who need to transfer large volume of data, yet still depend on USB 2.0 port. But I shall recommend them to those who want to move small files & have an extra minute to spare.
